for me, it's really useful for storing my characters and art of them! That way, if ppl delete their art or whatever, you still have it.
And if a person who does art has a toyhouse profile, other people who are uploading art of their charries can credit their toyhouse account and it shows under your profile link:Β toyhou.se/Hyliu/art . If you don't have a toyhouse acount, the person just puts a link to your profile on another platform. Like for me, when I upload this art, I'd give a link to your dA profile.
It's an invite beta (whatever that means)? so like yo ucan't get an account without having a special code. Members of toyhouse occassionally get codes that they can give to other ppl, so that's how I got in! If you look around dA, there are rppl who give away codes, so you can get a code from them if you want one- but it usually takes some searching
