...I'm realizing how weird my characters look together, haha.
I'm looking for relationships for my characters - anything from something as simple as acquaintances to significant others, maybe even family! I want to flesh out my characters a bit with this and also get some practice in drawing multiple characters together, interacting. So if you'd like your character in any type of relationship with one of mine - please be okay with me drawing them every now and again.
You can have an existing character, or even make a whole new character to participate! I don't have many rules for your characters; all I ask is that they seem to somewhat fit the one you hope to pair it up with! (Ex. Vixen with a extremely pastel, innocent angel... may not work. However, that can still depend on your character - maybe it could! I'm really open to seeing different characters.)
If you are making a new character - feel free to leave just a description, simple quick sketch, and/or a more refined piece - it's really up to you. Feel free to even use a base if that's easier!
I think a little form will make these things easier, but feel free to go off of it a bit. I'm not too sure I know exactly what I'm doing either... so just do your best. Take it more as guideline for help, no need to follow it exactly!

It's funny- usually with characters (at least for me haha-) I'm all for making them suffer and all that jazz, but there are just some things you don't mess with?? Like "no, this child has to be a cinnamon roll at all costs" but yes, kill their whole family- do you know what I mean or does that just sound crazy? XD

Possibly? I personally read a lot on DA, but also sometimes don't read everything. lol I try my best though and I think a lot of other people are probably like that too. I say go for it. There's bound to be people who read it after all. I'd be one of them, haha.

Dude it’s insane the amount of shit I put my characters through- it’s like none of them have experienced a completely good life LOL- I actually recently came up with a character with a friend and was literally like “I’m excited to have a character that’s happy for once” lmao. But it’s like- the tragedies they experience help shape their personality and propensities so it’s like a double edged sword I guess!
Oh that’s interesting!! I used to have a friend who did nothing but narratives and poetry, but they haven’t been active for a long long long time. So I wasn’t sure if lit on dA was almost considered outdated. You’re so sweet though <3 if I ever finish anything I’ll post it then haha

Pfft, same! Although I don't really write their stories on their profiles or anything; most have such bad backstories or lives in general. I just feel bad writing them done. Having a few happy characters are so nice though when created. Exactly. While the stories aren't the "best" it's sometimes needed to shape them as characters. Really does seem like a double edged sword!
Aw, that's a shame! I actually see that quite often on accounts, it's quite sad. I really enjoy reading poetry and things when I have the time, but DA is so absent of writing unless you dig deep to find some. Completely understandable you'd think it was considered outdated. Oh yay! I'm glad you will, haha.

Character Description:
Species: Chaos Demon
-Can willfully make things go wrong, almost like a bad luck demon somewhat. Can make things malfunction, fall apart, or anything else that causes turmoil. Just making things go as wrong as possible, or as little as possible depending on the situation. Like slowing down internet connections, a glass falling and breaking, all the windows and doors of a home opening at once, or the structure of a building crumbling to collapse.
Age: 107 years (appears 19)
Height: 5’1” (154 cm) very smol
Personality: When content, she is spontaneous, bright, mischievous, very smiley and playful. Very much a troublemaker, as is common among demons. But she is also super temperamental. Her mood shifts at the slightest thing. When she is upset or feels threatened, she becomes dark, menacing, and cold. Because she is such a young demon and has very little experience with other demons/mortals, she is almost childish in her interactions/impulses. Somewhat naïve, blunt, inconsiderate, and insensitive because she is so bb (and also just kind of rude LOL-). She very much loves and is loyal to any demons or humans she clings to becomes friends with. She is very protective, as well.
Why a Good Match?: Based on Vixen’s personality, likes/dislikes, and propensities, I feel like she and Aya would really have fun together causing trouble? They’re very similar in their temperaments and tendency to just be awful and mean. Aya loves the rush of things, discord and- like Vixen -loudness and vibrancy.
I also think their desires really coincide? Because Aya is so new to interaction among others, she doesn’t have that many people to just be with? So any relationship she forms is very precious to her, and I feel like that would go well with Vixen’s dislike towards isolation/being alone? Even though I’m sure she’d find Aya annoying af at first maybe, Aya would probably almost worship Vixen (like a little sister looking to her older sister) and do anything to entertain her or actually want her presence? Like using her powers to fool around with humans- like making them trip or breaking their glass or anything to cause a disturbance Vixen would find funny??
Lol ALSO- I saw that Vixen hates pastels and pink?? And it’s funny bc that’s almost all that Aya wears, but she only wears it because of the humans ideals of what “cute” is. So maybe Vixen could either make fun of what she wears or show her how to dress right idk XD

Oh wow, I actually love the thought of our characters being friends! They'd pair so well. I can see Vixen teasing her for the pastel/dressing and overall being more like a 'big sister' to her. She'd probably do what you said and make fun of her and maybe try to get her to dress "right" lmao. You didn't assume too much of Vixens personality at all! Spot on. haha

Haha yeah literally same. I feel like with my characters each of them represent myself in a spectrum?? And then they have one aspect that’s really forward/exaggerated. Like with Aya and one of my older characters Mallu I gave them my vulgarity??? Like- I’m not a person who curses often or is explicitly rude but I still have those tendencies to say things in my brain?? But with those two characters they just blurt them out when I can’t haha. It’s nice and cathartic in a way <3

Oh wow, glad I'm not the only one. It's so nice to have some characters like that! I'm far from how Vixen is for example, but she does have some aspects of me in her, somehow. lmao. So true lol and that's probably the most important aspect to characters, imo. Like they can look pretty/cool all day long, but I think having substance behind them really takes it to another level. And when it's realistically portrayed, in terms of emotion or reaction, it's just fhksdhkla awesome lol

Yes, haha. While beautiful characters are great on their own - slap a realistic personality or such on them and it's amazing. Granted sometimes a character can be unrealistic portrayed and still be fantastic. It all really depends on the character, but either way it's so nice. lol

Relationship between them - Kind of a pet/guardian; Phantom would watch over them, make sure they don't get hurt, and try to patch them up if they do
Your character's description/personality - Phantom lives in the wild and is a bit more intelligent than the average cat; she knows how to give very crude medical assistance and can sense danger, for the most part. She's also very caring, and just wants to help people. Her sanity is in the negatives, however, so not many humans want to deal with her.
Maybe why you think it'd be a good match? - I feel like she'd go well with Anoki because he lives in the wild too, and I feel like he'd probably be getting hurt a lot and need some help with that. She'd probably go pretty well with Millie because I feel like they would accept each other, and their personalities just kinda feel like a match to me, idk.

Your character's description/personality - She's kind of the 'mom' friend or voice of reason, she always plays by the rules and tries to stay out of trouble. She has a heart of gold and will always be there when someone needs help. Despite her more pure nature, she's also adventurous and always down for a party or thrills (ranging anywhere from rollercoasters to bungee jumping) as long as everyone's safe and having fun. She loves lattes, sunflowers, and walks in the rain.
Maybe why you think it'd be a good match? - Aside from them both being rabbits, I think their contrasting personalities and styles would be an interesting juxtaposition. Their relationship might be a bit more complex with their differences, but also bring about different opportunities for each character to grow with eachother.

Maybe why you think it'd be a good match? - The two both have a more cutesy and soft aesthetic, so I think they'd really get along well as friends. Plus, it'd be kind of funny to challenge the "cat and mouse" cliche in this way.

Aw, she's adorable and I do think the differences would be interesting! Cerise could probably do with a little bit of 'mom' friend in certain situations, but also someone to adventure with while also being safe (Which is one thing she might have trouble with when alone or trying to show she a tough bunny

I did have a cool idea for a few o.c.'s that im working on atm but because it's like a group thing that im basing it off it's going to take a while to completely flesh all of them out
Toxin, Foxing, Non-Entity, Rahdi and Amalia are always open to have friends though. Actually it would be really cool/fun to do more with all of those characters. (They all have anthro and feral forms except for Rahdi and Amalia)
I'd actually prefer to do something with more human-esqe characters, though (just because that's what I'm better at drawing) but tbh i have almost no human-esqe characters rn other than the ones im using for my book. (I would suggest them, but it would be hard because they're in their own world with rules and they have to follow a set story/plot line)
I would love to have characters with you that are friends or in a relationship though. : / The hard part is just finding characters that work together

Good Friends: Shenzi and Kito, both Draconians also.
Main Bio/Personality: She usually goes by her middle/'last' name, Nova, meaning 'She who chases butterflies' in Hopi. Unlike Kito and Shenzi, Nova didn’t spend the majority of her childhood in labs. She can’t recall whether or no she was born the way she was, but regardless she shares a warm love and interest for the majority of the beings she comes across. Although she is an extrovert, she manages to find the right times to be quiet rather than talkative.

Nova is very laid back with other laid back/quiet people. She is generally very genial and wants to offer support to whomever she’s spending her time with. She is also loyal to a tee once someone’s gained her trust.
For Anoki specifically- Nova can be very feminine if she pleases, and although she usually cuts her hair pretty short for convenience, she would probably enjoy herself messing with and cleaning up his tangled hair. She also shares a passionate love for nature or anything related, causing for a quiet peace to just “be” whenever enveloped in such an environment.
For Drew Specifically- Regardless of her ability to remain silent when necessary, Nova could make conversation all day long. Whether it’s just small talk, or chatting over deep issues, it’s kind of her happy place, and she enjoys spending quality time with anyone she can converse with like so. Though it’s a very terrible habit, she’s also taken to cracking a few dad jokes occasionally.

Anoki is in a more so nature area, which seems to appeal to your characters. While Drew stays more in the city, which may still appeal, not too sure? (I'm almost thinking of throwing them all into the same 'world', but different places kinda- yet to be sorted out though)
So maybe friends with Anoki or would you prefer something else? I don't really mind either character, since she'd suit both really well.
