Well, here is it. Took long enough. I'm sick of it, the more I look at it, the more I don't like it. Blah. Hate the background.. I'll probably still touch it up before I give it to them, but this is the last one I'm posting... (phew!) Showed the girl today, she positively loved it, so I guess thats all that matters.Related content

Thats really beautiful, dont think theres any thing wrong with the background at all! Ah alas...an artist is never completely satisfied with they're work. Hehe know the feeling

I can be really pleased with something when I finnish it, but a week later if I go back and look at it again, I can fill a page with all the mistakes I can spot! It's terrible.

I will have to watch you in case you do update this. It's fantastic, I'd love to see what happens if you put some more contrast in! The detail you could see on the horse in your first version has been lost a bit. Yay for putting in a background though, it does look great. All my horses float in mid-air since I have no patience for trees and grass.

this is wonderful! and i love the background - the trees are amazing! maybe just adjust the contrast a bit so the lines are darker, then it'll look fantastic.

Very good! I love the realism, but I agree you need more contrast. Don't be afraid to make the darkest areas black! Especially around the horse, so he doesn't meld into the background.

Hey, at least you drew a backround. I'm always too lazy to draw one. And when I do it's just a bunch of floating geometric shapes, not anything normal. So yay for drawing a backround. You did a nice job making the pony stand out from the backround too. I like it.
