yay wings!
.. and this is my first attempt :

this is ~Abwettar 's beautiful mare Stardust~
I had ALOT of fun shading her pretty colors, it was good to draw a stocky looking horse, i really like her design and i am glad we got to trade, i hope you like it hun!
and I cant wait to see your half!!

awe! she looks like a purple version of my vaulting horse Sparkle
The colours are absolutly stunning! The face and forequaurters are also amazing.
my only critique would be a couple of little anatomical things in her hind end. Firsly you drew the inside hind leg very well but in the position her forequarters are in it would actually be ahead of the outside hind rather than behind. and lastly the outside hind hoof is a bit on the small side. but other than that absolutly amazing!

you're welcome. If you ever get a chance watch some dressage training DVDs like "if horses could speak" They will show horses moving in slow motion and that particualr one goes quite in depth into equine anatomy. I would sugest not trusting "how to draw" books because a lot of those people have never seen a real live horse in their lives lol 
Oh and I forgot to say in my first comment - I ADORE her wings.
