I can share what I know so far

No, they are not stealing. They are influencing the DA User by upvoting Content. Like Bots in social Media do. For Example:

I uploaded this as a test to see if any real person would want to see it.

Go and look into the Fave List. No real person at all.

I think they are faving things just to stay online for the time when their User/ Programmer orders them to act.

Like the Bots from Russia in the US media influenced the Election of Trump vs. Hillary.

Remember, DA is a Page where you cannot see the counterpart, but you can contact other Person around the world.

It is a Weakness of those who whant to controll the Masses.

There might even be a reason for the HUGE amount of truly DEVIANT (Foot fetish, Feeders fetish, ragged Woman) Art on The startpage. they want to misscredit DA to get control over the People by driving them away into Datacollectors like Google, Youtube, and co. DeviantArt survives with selling your Art- not you (or your Data), at least for what i know.

The only way to deal with this is to stay with DA and Fave Real Art like yours.
