I've been working on this off and on for a few days. I haven't taken it to summer school to work on because, honestly, I'm a little embarrassed.I have an addiction to TDI/TDA.
And I for one think that Gwen and Duncan are perfect for each other.
Go team G+D!
P.S. I could totally see Duncan being a smoker.
P.S.S. This is definitely a doodle. I'm aware there's lots of things wrong with it.

The way I made this was really weird. First I sketched it in MS Paint, lowered the capacity, then printed it out. I then went over the sketch in pencil, then inked it, and then started coloring. I used both crayola and prisma pencils. The sky is crayola, and the rest is pretty much prisma. I used white paint for the starts. Then after I colored the entire thing I took these colored calligraphy pens and added some shading to Duncan's mohawk and around the moon.
I had no idea what I was doing, this whole thing was really just an experiment. xD

dude this is freakin awesome!! and you shouldnt be embarassed. i am absoulutely in love with TDI/TDA/TDWT! and i also that gwen and duncan should be together. they are perfect for each other, they just dont know it yet. courtney is just gonna have to deal with it!

Didn't they show Gwen and Duncan kissing in the previews for TDWT? Even though Duncan has been "eliminated" he still plays a major part in the show as far as I can see.

Well, I put make up on Gwen, and I was copying the face paint that Duncan put on himself in that one episode (I can't remember which) and at the time I was going through a phase where I drew tons of eyeliner on everything, haha. I kind of regret it now. But It's too late to fix it!

Let's see... The sky and the moon (well, supposed to be moon) are crayola colored pencils, and the stars are random acrylic white paint that I found and dabbed on with a tooth pick. The characters themselves plus the brick wall are left over prismas from school. Once I was done coloring it, I went over some of the darker areas with these sort of calligraphy/brush marker things? to try and give the shadows more depth. I smudged the ink with my finger and it dried on the sort of waxy texture of the prismas.
Oh, also! I actually sketched this on MS Paint, then lowered the opacity and printed out a very light copy of the sketch, which I then went over with pencil, then inked! So the paper is very flimsy because it's just normal printer paper.
Yeahh, really complicated process. I usually don't do things like that, but my creative side was calling for this one!

XD;; This is been in my favorites for awhile but I just now felt compelled to comment it. 
I love this picture and this couple. I agree, like many others here, that Duncan would be a smoker and maybe even a drinker. Gwen might be an occasional smoker too but probably does it more often after the stress of the shows she was on (and Trent kinda driving her nuts).
I think these two should've gotten together, it's a shame they didn't. They're so much alike yet just different enough to still benefit from each other. Duncan sports plenty of confidence while Gwen seems lacking. He could should her plenty of excitement and maybe even make her feel good about herself and life and Gwen could keep him out of trouble without being domineering like that brat Courtney.
And really, best friends almost always make the best loves...
And that picture with it's vibrant colors and it's nifty little smoke effect and the glowy moon all capture the perfection in this Punk/Goth pairing.

I'd like to believe that they were together for at least one date behind the scenes, or between seasons of the show. If you've seen that one particular episode of Aftermath when Duncan "accidentally" falls on top of Gwen... Well, I think you get where I'm going.
And yes, they both totally smoke. I couldn't see Duncan as a drinker... especially since he's only 16. But, as much as I hate to say it, I could see him smoking pot at one point or another. Just because it seems like something he'd do.
I'm also still hoping that there's a 3rd season of Total Drama. And hopefully Courtney and Heather are both not there. Which would give Gwen and Duncan a chance!

Well I try to make my comments meaningful when I do write them and I love this pairing dearly! I never seem to like canon in cartoons, but this show especially. ^^ I try to put more thought into the couples I choose to support and you of course understand my reasons for this one.
Maybe they are together but had to stay with Courtney and Trent for ratings? Chris would NOT want to get ratings lowered for the sake of true love. XD
I know what you mean about Duncan not drinking but hey, he's a badboy and lotsa GOOD teenagers make the mistake so Duncan seems like he's as least try to like, takes beers from dad or something. I agree about pot too, I just didn't know if I should say it or not. XD I just know he's not a total bad GUY for doing this sort of stuff. I mean he's a cool buddy to all his friends and Gwen at least.
There is a few more Seasons of TDI I heard but I won't spoil anything. I like Heather, actually because she the "lvoe to hate" girl... and she looks good with DJ. ^^ But Courtney is just horrid... a horrid little creature.

Yeah, I could see why you didn't wanna say it. I really didn't say wanna say it, either. But it's definitely something I could see him doing. And going to crazy insane parties, though he claims he doesn't have any friends. (Which I don't believe in the slightest.)

I too can totally see Duncan smoking, ultimate bad boy stereotype. Which, of course, is what I usually imagine Gwen's response to him smoking being, shortly before stealing it and taking a puff herself.
