It had been a few months since Frost stepped away from the stable grounds. And being the homebody he was, he already missed the comfort of his own stall. Already, he longed for the familiarity of the surrounding mountains, the other horses, the woody smell of pine trees...

Hannah brought him to the rented stall about an hour prior. He'd been sullen ever since. Ryan, Hannah's older sister, had considered competing with Min for the endurance trials. Yet, plans were changed when she saw an opening for the stallion she'd wanted a foal from.

So, there he was. All alone.

"Hey, buddy," Hannah approached him.

Frost turned from her.

"What? Mad at me?"

He pinned an ear back and lifted his head.

"Oh, well. Guess you don't want this, then."

She tossed an apple slice from hand to hand. The sweet cider scent reached the horse's nose. Well, he supposed it would be unreasonable to stay in this state of disdain forever.

He twisted around to face her and immediately dipped his nose to her hand. Teeth sank into the slice. And boy was it delicious.

"We'll go out for a ride in a bit. How's that sound?"

Sounded good to him.

This is Earl Grey (Frost) and his arrival to the stables. Hope he does well in the competition ^^
I still can't completely figure out how I want Hannah to look. So, she looks drastically different here than she does in the actual show picture.
