You can change the content of the journal. The feature is just there as an example for the preview.

This is so beautiful!!! But I dont know how to change the colors of my letters as are grey. The text been seen very bad. Is it possible for me to change the color of the text some way?

On the top left corner of the skin (right above the list of installable skins) there's an option to "edit skin", click that link and a window will pop up (accept what it says) and then you'll be shown the code of the skin. In the "Header" section, you can find the codes to change the URLs for your own links

I hate to say it, but the how to you have linked here is very outdated.
There is no longer a 'journal text' or 'options' area when in the 'write new journal' tab.
I have also taken notice that the code is now different, too.

This install function under the journals makes people even more lazy.
In the beginning you needed at least some basics about css, but now...
