I'm actually thinking about maybe learning to cross-stitch?? I've seen some really cool pixel art patterns. There is also a piece my... either great-grandma or great-great-grandma did that hangs in each of her children's houses and I'd kinda like to make one myself, even though it apparently took her a year each (she made three, one for each kid.) Any suggestions? How easy was it for you to learn?

Super easy to learn. It can be frustrating as hell when you mess up and have to undo a lot of your work because you realize you’re off pattern by a single row. I love it tho

You have to do that sometimes in crochet as well. Perhaps it will be similar? I dunno, I think my sister left some cross stitch stuff behind so maybe I'll check it out.
