Description

Snailetons are a species of small snail people. They’re very talkative and friendly by nature and take pride in building communities. No one quite knows how they came to be so advanced or how they came to be at all, but they have coexisted with humans for enough time that it really feels like they’ve been side by side all along. As they feel they look rather silly without clothing they always make sure to cover themselves up.
They average around 2 feet in height, and contrary to popular belief, they do have bones. That’s where they got their name, actually. Funny how things like that work. They build their own homes as well, as no human home is small enough to fit their needs.

We’re proud to announce a new closed snecies! We hope people like it as much as we do honestly. We have a group as well, which will be joinable in a bit, as well as some adoptables and events in the near future!

Notes:
-Snaileton markings can be any color; however neon will be discouraged. Snaileton markings should stick to one or two colors, but never more than that!
-The markings can be any shape imaginable! This includes gradients as well. As long as these markings do not cover up more than 50% of the body, everything is fair game!
-The size of these markings should not be too small. Tiny dots used in excess will be considered part of the Snalactic mutation, so watch out!
-Shell colors can be whatever your heart desires with whatever markings you desire! There aren’t many regulations on the shells besides the shape.
-Just in case it wasn’t obvious, the rare shell is indicating a lack of shell (same goes for the rare tail).
-Snaileton colors and their rarity depend how bright or dark they are. Pastel colors and light greys are considered common while darker colors and dark greys are considered uncommon.
-The neon body color is almost exclusively used in tandem with the Sn-infected mutation, though in rare cases it can be used without such a mutation.
-The legs must always be black and stick-like. Any deviation to this will result in an army of snails breaking into your home and changing it themselves.
-Tail length can vary, especially on the longer tails. Tails should not be too long that they begin to drag on the floor. (Might be painful!)
