Last Tuesday it was my boyfriend's birthday and we had a weekend in London. While we were there we went to see Weezer perform at the O2 Arena in Brixton. My boyfriend adores them, since he was young, so what a treat right?

Well, unfortantely it was a complete and utter disappointment!

We arrived an hour early to avoid epic queues and once inside another hour for the technicians to setup the stage for the warm-up band Indoor Pets. Which we had the joy of putting up with for another hour lol Then another hour for the technicians to setup the stage for Weezer, whom played a bunch of bad covers and a couple of classics in the most half a***d way for an hour and 20 minutes. 20 minutes more than the warm-up??? When it was over, we fled back to our hotel wishing it was different.. The thing is, they didn't bother to even introduce themselves, let alone say goodbye... And to make matters worse, the venue was a flea pit falling apart around us.

London however was amazing, we did quite a bit in our limited time there. We had fun in Hamley's and the Lego Store. Even got duped but the first claiming an exclusive Lego toy only to their store, to be discovered by us at a much cheaper price in the latter store. We had a quick visit to China town, a detour to an Indian sweet shop and onto the Natural History museum the next day. For those who have never visited that, ever find yourself in London, get over there and check the amazement out! My boyfriend experienced the tube for the first time, enjoyed every moment of it and sadly we are back at home, going to work -sigh-

This year I decided to draw a card based on Weezer. I am utterly useless at drawing actual humans so opted for chibi ones instead because they are much easier for me to do.

Patrick Wilson on drums, Rivers Cuomo on electric guitar, Brian Bell on keyboard and Scott Shriner on bass guitar.

I did them in outfits they actually wear and with instruments similar to what they use for real.

My boyfriend recognised them all instantly which was good. It made me real happy when he said it was the best card he has ever received. -warm fuzz feels me up completely-
