~~~Comish for HartTheFox of FA and is a gift for his soon-to-be mate, Zapper. ^^ The different backgrounds for Hart and Zapper respectively come from them living in different states, hence the text in the sky and the red string of fate around their paws, connecting them. ^^
I don't do anthros very often, though it is fun and good practice. I enjoyed working on this piece for not only the bg practice, but also for the anthro practice, since they're not usually something I'd draw by myself.
What does anybody think about that city? I really like how it turned out! First digital city I've done...have done ballpoint pen cities...let me tell you how much shading that is...
I like their hands. :3 I love drawing 'relaxed' fingers like that.

The first thing that struck me about this piece, interestingly, is the phisique of the two characters. The muscle tone under the fur is gorgeous and the expressions on both theri faces is striking. You can tell that they are not entrily happy with the predicament but life must go on; whatever comes they will always remain friends. The curvature of the bodies and tails, the stark tone and the position of the legs are soemthing that would stick in my mind if I saw this.
The way the moon illuminates the background is rather mystical. I love the way you designed it and the way you made the large impact site on the south-east quadrant very prominent. The glow of the moon makes it even more noticeable in the sky.
The city looks good for the most part, although I am not so certain about the illumination rays on the buildings. For the trees however you have it just perfect. The mist that permeates the edge of the ground is also a nice touch.

When I first saw this, I thought it was blood dripping from their hands until I read the description. I like seeing pictures like this because you can see how happy some people are.
