Epic Scene comish for MouseClick of FA of his scalesona soaring over the northern seas!
Phew, alhamdulillah I finished this! This is one of the most background-heavy pieces I've done in a while, (where there's a big background and the dragon doesn't cover most of it up, hurr,) and it was a lot of fun to work on and I learned a lot to boot! I can't remember the last time I've done an ocean scene, and I loved working on all the details and the lighting!
Mouse wanted his sona to be flying over the sea, night sky in the background and glowing slightly, to really make him look legendary, like an ancient myth come to life... What better than wings spread wide, (all four of them!) flying across the aurora-illuminated sea, black peaks of the tall mountains behind him?

Great pose! I guess it is hard to draw wing in an angle like this, but I think you did a good job there. Light, colours, background (especially the aurora borealis) look beautiful too, but the angle does somehow not go well with the flexion on the right side, if you look straight at the picture.
