~~~Gradient-shaded comish for Schism11 of FA the dragon...Schism!
Schism asked for Schism, (hehe, that never gets old,) to be 'gliding gracefully,' and what other place to glide gracefully than in the morning light of a mountain range, wings spread wide? I was trying to find a good stock mountain photo for the background, and after about twenty seconds of not finding one, I just made one myself. So there. Hehe.
Big wings are big. <3 Shading is boss, too, if I do say so myself.

Very nice coloration, your color palette has a lot of depth and is full of warm and cool colors even though it is leaning towards the cooler side overall.
For originality, I did not rate that because I think the design is bad, it is very beautiful. Only reason for the 2,5 stars is because dragons in general are hard to get originality with, and this one's features are simple, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. I went half way because it depends on what it is that you want for your character, and what you want attention to be drawn to.
The only advice I would give if something were to change would be the proportion of the body in relation to the wings. I know the wings are the main focus and draw the most attention, but when I imagine this dragon on the ground, the wings seem a tad too enormous even for a dragon. Dragons normally tend to have large wings in order for their flight capability to be believable which is attained in this drawing, but there is still room for this one's body to have a size increase while still maintaining that large-scale wing span. Usually easily done with Photoshop programs, just a matter of re-sizing layers and re-connecting the lines. This would also attract some more attention to the dragon's body and face without the wings being too overwhelming as much of the main focus.
Overall great job, and the fact that it breaks the borders is a nice touch! It's something that isn't seen very often, but that really helps when you are emphasizing the size of the wings. Another reason why I say you could do with a larger body because you've definitely captured an awe-inspiring wing span and you really wouldn't lose that if small changes were made to the body size. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

This is so amazing. It's a lovely (semi-)hatched shading. I always pity not many artists do so. And I really enjoy the mix of light-blue and pink and the drawing; they always look so very organic one with another.
Also, you've managed to do a great job with wing anatomy.
