Just out of curiosity, but is King Richard the Lion-Heart part of your crusade series? He had a very important role in the 3rd Crusade (King's Crusade).

It's hard, but Orf goes with another one of the knights who cares for him.
He isn't a main character, in fact, he doesn't turn up hardly at all, but his presence is felt. Since my knights are in the field so much, they don't really interact with him, but they always hear of him and his orders.
Same goes for Salah al-Din and the Saracens.

If it weren't for Thomas, Kristof would have executed her on the spot of her capture... He threw her in the dungeon and didn't tell anyone...
He really doesn't like her because Thomas is obsessed with her and therefore is hurting his knightly performance.
Yazin actually didn't mean to kill him. It's either kill him...or be killed by the thirty knights chasing him. XD

But, he has to be different and have a black cross, lol. (Since my main group of knights is kind of from random/scattered places, they have all sorts of subtle variations.
