Well.

It feels good to do more lineless.

Part of a few pics of Thomas and Idracil I wanna colour - omg, I find waaay to much time to doodle in Geology...you have no idea...

BUT.

I...I really like this. Yep. Mmmhmmm. *nods* Yeah. Good week so far - including the weekend - best weekend everrr...all starting last Friday at about 2:27 PM in my car...mmhmmm...

And now, inshallah, I'll have more epic arts to show.


You know how I like to apologize for being on never. XD And you also know how I like to ramble about being busy. It's late and I have early classes tomorrow. Oh, poo.

BUT I'M BEING AWESOME AND ARTING AND GETTING ON DEVIANTART INSTEAD, BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

But yeah, I really like this... Lots of good colours - I like my shading on this one - highlights help Idrazilla pop like. And the colours are nice - I'm using more, can't you tell?

And Jerusalem turned out well, too. I wasn't sure if I was gonna get lazy and do more hills but hell I like doing city-scapes, what am I kidding myself?

(Can YOU spy my two little assassins down there? I'll give you the internets if you tell me who those two are. )


It's times like this I really get serious about contacting a publisher and sitting down and writing it all out.
Maybe I will someday, inshallah.
And speaking of which, if I ever get this out and published, you guys all get first pic - autographed copies - yep. *epic nods*

And also speaking of which, I just got three antique jambiyas - but they all deserve their own Journal update post coming up later this week.

Then I'll get to give you a whole entire ramble on the history of the jambiya - since I know how much you guys love my history rants. X)

Pretty awesome, I'm liking the little touches of red/pink in some of the shading plus the perspective is really nifty!
I'd say there is some little bits of improvement in this pic, though I couldn't really say since all your pics are awesome in my opinion. Saying one has improvement in it makes me feel like I'm saying the rest aren't awesome, which is far from the truth. Sorry, I'll shut up. XD

Well, I can't really put Minaret in this comment since I skimmed a few parts, but...

The shading is well done. The details of the dragon's face and feet are great. There's something off on the fella's anatomy, though; his legs seem wrong. (I understand it's gotta be hard to get a good ref of a guy riding a dragon... ) I think I'd like a little shading on the buildings. The shading on the dragon is fantastic and glowing and epic in general — then the buildings are flat black. It jumps out too much (to me). It wouldn't need a whole lot, just enough to show that city isn't a card-board cut-out. Overall, good work.

Thanks! Lol, yeah, it is hard to get proportions of people right from when they're just standing to riding a dragon! Mmkay, I'll try to add some highlights to my cityscapes - I usually just like them silhouetted. Thanks again!

There's one tiny little detail I would like to say about the anatomy of the dragon; The wing closest to us doesn't seem to be connected to the body properly. We can see the hips of the dragon (because we can clearly see where the leg ends), but the wing doesn't seem to be connected there. So the membrane either doesn't touch the body or it does in a place that is in front of the visible parts of body. But if that was the case, the wings wouldn't be able to keep the dragon up in the air.

Other than that, it's a great picture, certainly for a lineless piece.
