I can't remember the last lineless picture I did. It was in June, I think. Maybe. If I'm that lucky. If not it was in May, then. Guh... WOW I feel behind on the times. :/

So YEAH.

I freaking love the background.

The clouds are, like, happy.

How did they turn out...happy?

And the contrast is like 'OH YEAH' like the Kool-Aid man only with less volume.

And Rahal is like 'WHAT YOU WANT.' And Saladin's like 'BITE ME. >:0 '

Did you know Saladin started going on military campaigns when he was still in his early twenties? Man, he was young. Even then, he never really was into the military - he was actually really delved into historical and religious studies as he was a strict Sunni Muslim, and his immediate interest in the military was actually brought about by the Crusaders' surprise take of Jerusalem in the First Crusade in 1096.

His first MAJOR step onto the scene of epic came about at a battle at the Nile River, where he commanded the entire right wing of the Zengid army in an attempt to hold back the Crusader-Egyptian force. Saladin moved his wing and lured the enemies into the center of the army, where the entire Zengid fleet surrounded them and beat them, even capturing their commander. Saladin is said to have helped Shirkuh in one of "the most remarkable victories in recorded history," according to Ibn al-Athir.

He moved to Cairo, Egypt, where he became the Vizier, despite the majority of the office being of Shia influence. His holding office is attributed to his personal military successes and his family's reliable reputation... Eventually he began putting his own family and companions into the offices around him, began building more institutions in the city dedicated to Sunni Islam, and finally worked his way into becoming the Sultan of Egypt...

I freaking love Saladin. That's the third thing on my 'Jannah list' - to give him a freaking high five. And then float around with him and talk to him and have him tell me all his tales and his life story.

But inshallah I have a while before I have to worry about that. XD

So yeah...

I like his fur the best, methinks...and the wings turned out sooo well! The sunlight coming through is muuumtaaaaaaaaz!!!

And the textures and things are fun, too. Not to mention that pose... ^^
