Description
Erm um another webcam picture test. I'll reupload this after my scanner comes back online. The real one looks better.24x17 image
A simple design using a varying line structure to create contrast and draw the eye to the focal point. No idea how long it took me, but not very.

haha, yeah the glass is supspended in front of her. It is supposed to be kind of trippy...like she is drunk or such. So, heh, why not have a flying glass? Thanks for the comments.

Having a model is the best way. Like Kat above, I'm impressed with the attention to detail, especially considering this is a relatively quick picture. I espcially like the 'track lines' that divide the pic up.

Thank you Larissa. Most exercises like this are crammed in very short amounts of time, and the teachers demand high amounts of accuracy. It becomes very aggitating at times.
I like the track lines as well. I was afraid, when designing it, that if the horizontal lines were solid the would detract from the attention created by the vertical ones.

Thanks alot Kat. Heh, there is no big trick to how to do that. Like I've said before, sit down and draw what you see. I had a friend stand still for me and I just drew her like that. Though a few changes to her here and there had to be made. You should give it a try. I bet you will be impressed with your results. Truth be told, the acutal image of her took 10 min. tops.
