So I was talking with my good friend, Kirsty, and she reminded me of this scene - Minda about to admit her feelings. I had the idea to draw this scene a while ago, but I forgot about it. Having spoken about TP and being reminded of how much I loved it, I had to draw another Midna pic XD. I'm obsessed!Tablet, PSP, airbrush, 2 hours.

Meh. I'm not a fan of Midna x Link but this is very pretty! But something confuses me. The tear that hits and shatters the Mirror of Twilight is not a tear. It is a fraction of Zelda's 'cherished gift'. That must surely make ZELDA the true ruler of Twilight, mustn't it? I mean, it was her heart that broke it. (And then my brother started laughing and pointed out that the mirror shards that you collect were all in minute pieces when you beat the bosses and then the reform. He asked, "Doesn't that mean that Blizzeta, Araghoma and Arghorok are the true rulers?" Logical thinking for a four year old, really!)

Where did you get the idea that the teardrop wasn't actually a teardrop, rather it's Zelda's gift? I don't recall anywhere in the game that said that. Also, it was said anyone could break the mirror, but to completely shatter it to the point where it couldn't be repaired, only the Ruler could do that. That's why Zant could only break it into bits, but Midna destroyed it in the end to make sure the two worlds don't ever mix the way it had ever again.

If you looked, the teardrop didn't look anything like a tear, did it? It looked like a particle of Zelda's gift. (That is just my observations. And it also looks like it is trying to return to Zelda as well. And that is what I mean by saying that Zelda is the true ruler, because it was a piece of her heart that shattered the mirror. And secretly I wanted her to keep the mirror because surely it wasn't THAT bad in the Twilight. It was actually pretty nice. Like Midna says, it did hold a serene beauty.

Oh, man. That was such a good ending. It made me sad because I was REALLY hoping that they would be together, but I'm not really surprised, I guess.

That part of the ending was the best, I think =__= I actually thought TP ended badly (compared to Ocarina of Time, which I think was a great ending), until I saw that small cutscene and I reckon it all made up for it.
I love the drawing, I cant really say anything that everyone else hasnt. You may want to put a spoiler warning on the pic, though

Very, very pretty, especially the hair. The hand and tears are nice too. My only complaint is her eye seems a tad too long for her face.

Well, the thing is Midna's eyes actually stretch out pretty far - the corner of it - so when she's closing her eyes I would imagine the line for her lid would go just as far? I think, maybe, I should've made some sorta shadow to show that her actual *eye* ended and the corner lash thingie went on a bit further... Thanks for pointing that out - helped me think on how to do eye-closing pics a bit better
