Do you ever get the feeling that you're completely lost?You don't know what to do, or how to get yourself going.
You're miserable for no really good reason at all, and nothing seems to cheer you up.
Have you felt under-appreciated, abandoned, and worthless?
Betrayed? Let down?
Lonely?
Here's Nicolette, member of Team Nix, a 'sona of mine. Her nature is Lonely, so I decided to do something a little sad with her. I'm not sure what that is around her, I just kind of doodled and went with it.

Nic silently studied him for a moment, taking in everything he had said. "One of these... is your heart..." She turned her attention back to the stone. "You said several times. Does that mean it runs out of energy, and you need to find a new one?"

"One is my heart. It beats like my heart did. It holds my soul in my body still. As long as it's inside me, It works like a real heart," He pauses, "One can't be killed by a stab anymore. It would just heal the wound instantly with its powers... What is it that I have said that you want to know about?"

"Hmm..you said that I could make special use of one of these. I'm guessing that's because I'm a fire type, like you." she says. "What other uses do these have?"

"It can reveal your most heart-felt desires, and your darkest secrets. I'm interested to know what you see in it. I've never let somemon with amnesea look into one before." He falls silent for a second. "Tell me. What do you see?"

She concentrates, gazing into the ruby. 'Could this really work?' she thinks to herself. After several moments, something sort of cloudy forms in the gem. The image never gets quite clear enough for her to see it, but she is flooded with powerful emotion. A serene feeling of warm happiness takes over her, and she hears a voice. 'I love you..' it says. Tears begin to well up in her eyes again as she realizes that she is in love, and to be with her love is her greatest desire.

"It will work. Continue looking." He watches her gaze fondly at the gem. "There will be more for you to see."

"I...I can't see him." she sniffles. Her heart sinks. "I miss him so much...what if I never see him again..?" Her voice wavers and her head droops, tears falling.
(I don't want her to learn too much about her past just yet, I'm leaving that for her character development later on during missions and such

"Don't worry." He lets her cry on his shoulder for a moment. "One thing I've learned about loved ones, They always have a way of coming back to you. Now tell me. What else do you see? Something... Dark."
(I understand. I'm not letting on all of my Character's history ether. It will be slowly revieled in his mission)

She reluctantly looks back into the gem. With a short gasp, she jumps, dropping the stone onto the floor. She slowly stands up from where she was sitting, as if preparing to flee.

"Wait! Don't run!" He grabs her arm, "please Don't run. Look, Whatever he gem showed you, I promise It won't hurt you." He does his best to comfort her, "what did you see?"

Shuting her eyes tightly, she desperately shakes her head back and forth. Struggling to get out of his grip, she pleads. "No! I don't wanna think about it! Can't you see it's only making it worse?!" Her voice was filled with panic.

Chris/Cross suddenly gets very nervous at her panicing. He does the only thing he can think of and hugs her into a tight embrase. "It's okay," He soothingly speaks, "Look, I don't know what you saw, but I can tell you one thing, it can't hurt you. I promise. I can't hurt you. It was just an image. It's okay. It's okay."

She finally gives up struggling. "I bet you think I saw some dumb monster or something... This whole thing's just a big nightmare!" she cries into his shoulder. "Everyone I love is gone, I just know it! I'll never see any of them again!!" she sobs.

"It's okay" He pats her to help comfort her. "Fear is a very complicated thing. I have yet to see an instance where the image is a monster." he let's her continue to sob. "It's okay. Let it out. Let it all out. Everybody needs a cry once in a while. Go ahead. You're safe."

After a few minutes of not saying anything, her whimpers eventually get softer. "Maybe I should take a nap... I need rest..."

"Then sleep. You need your rest." He slips the gem into her paws. "Keep this. You need it more than me."

Her eyes are red from crying. She reluctantly accepts the gem, and says "Thanks." Then she turns to go down the hallway in search of an open bedroom. But she quickly looks back saying "Oh, I didn't get your name?"

"My name is Chris/Cross. Just be careful. The next time we meet, I might not act the same. May I ask your name?"

"Chris/Cross? My name is Nicolette."

"Two names, two personalities. Don't ask. It's WAY to hard to explain. Here, I heard there was an empty room right down there. I can show you if you want."

"Ok." she says, waiting for him to catch up to her. "I'll follow."

He leads her down the hall and stops at a door. "Here we are. Unless it was taken since I last saw it, it should be empty." He opens the door to reveal a quaint little room with enough nests for two pokemon. "And it still is. It was quite nice meeting you madam, but I must find my partner once more. Goodbye." He gives a bow and waits for her reply.

"It was nice to meet you too." she smiles. "If you happen to see an Eevee with a blue ribbon around his front leg, can you let him know where I am? He's Max, the one who rescued me."

"Don't worry. I will. Before I go, Could you tell me where you last saw him? Thanks."

"He went back to Tao to look for more lost or trapped Pokemon, but he should be back before dinner time."

"Thank you madam. It was a pleasure meeting you. Goodbye." He begins to walk away. "Oh, wait," He turns back around, "Don't loose that gem. It will come in handy, I know it will. Promise you won't lose it?"
