So, I was finally at my desk, sketching for another clothing swap pic..But then, something broke inside me.. my hand suddenly started moving beyond my mind, as if it had a mind of its own..!
By then, I already knew this was going to be terrible, and turned out it really is.. so on behalf of this sketchy drawing of mine, I deeply apologize.. I just don't know what went wrong..!

I've seen this a few times but I haven't really stopped to look at it and I find it interesting for a few reasons. I like how casually shimmer is just carrying Derpy on her shoulder like ain't no thing lol. Also like how Derpy is just enjoying the ride, that's kinda funny lol. That's a pretty nice thing kuroshimmer is doing too, helping an injured girl and not just that letting herself get dirty so Derpy doesn't get dirty. it's a cute scene, I like it ^_^ nice work

Well, Derpy's probably as light as a pigeon so it's not really a problem.. Derpy is the pigeon, and pigeons are everywhere..! Enjoying everything..!

hmm... derpy is the bird... what information would she have...? derpy is a pigeon? what pigeons would have information? like a carrier pigeon? they would have information but what information would she find and what price would she want? a stool pidgeon, has information, could find information, for a price. would derpy be a snitch? a tattletale? owls deliver information by mail in harry potter... assassination contracts were delivered via carrier pidgeon. there was the owl knowlege spirit from avatar. had vast amount of information in it's library. if you needed information that was the place to go but to get into the library you had to pay a price of adding knowledge to the library. but derpy doesn't seem like a big scary owl spirit lol.Β

Well, I was referring to Hitman..! In Hitman: Absolution, there's a character called Birdie, an informant hired by 47 to help him finding out more information he need..!
I don't know why, but I have this thought when I was drawing Derpy .. her image is similar to the pigeons; they both have goggled eyes that provide extreme peripheral vision, they both seem clumsy but surprisingly supermaneuverable ..
And then I thought, what if Derpy somehow can communicate with them..? Pigeons are pretty much everywhere, and they see everything..! So I have this thinking, Derpy is the little bird that tells you things.. for a price..! Ahahaha..!

hehe yea ^^ there's actually work I'm supposed to be doing but with my procrastination anything and everything looks more fun lol. Hehe but it was fun to work on xD Ahh Hitman Absolution! that's actually a game I own but I haven't played yet, I actually have it right next to Assassin's Creed IV! xD had a feeling it was something I hadn't played or watched lol
hehe aww I know what you mean, remember reading the reason derpy is the mailmare is because she can fly with an eye towards the sky and the ground at the same time. oh wow... I didn't know falcons ate pidgeons, that's a trip lol. I can see what your saying though, easy to imagine derpy as one of those eccentric oddball girls with a unique talent like a strong sense of animal empathy.

You seem to have many games but leave them "unplayed".. well, my friend and I prefer rent, I only play it once, finish it, then return it..!

Oh yea... I have tons of games that I bought but haven't had a chance to play. I'd rent but I'm not as much of a gamer as I used to be. I like video games more for the story and universe rather than gameplay, so more often than not I read about the games more than I play them lol. Assassin's Creed is a good example

hehe I like to believe that games are an investment. The way I see it
-if it takes me an hour to earn 10-15 dollars
-I buy a game for 10-15 dollars
-if I can get an hour+ of fun out of the game then I profited on my investment lol
if that makes any kind of sense lol. it runs on my silly logic. hehe doesn't hurt to get good games with decent replay value xD
