If you want to talk about AU and slowness, though, let me remind you about the many fanfic writers and some artists out there. Some draw -nothing- but their headcanons, AUs and crossovers, and it's all perfectly fine. I don't see how it isn't work for the fandom if the fandom loves it as pony work on its own merits. You work for yourself here, and it only makes it better - you get personal satisfaction from it, and from you sharing it, others get great pleasure from watching your work too!

Well, you aren't exactly slow either. Some artists I know who do things like you do work much slower than you do. And then there're some who've only released a few things, like a single fic, which is AU and still receives high commendations and stuff. You do deserve any and all compliments.

Well, on internet, especially memes.. if it gets it, the popularity that is, then it deserves it..! Even though it is a personal take or a simple drawing, if it's interesting it'll be popular..! Like there was a simple comic, where Twi says "Princess Celestia your cutiemark is pretty" or something like that, then she touches it, suddenly Celestia yells "I'm a princess, are you a princess too??" It's so simple yet the joke is solid; it's about Celestia talking toy..! And that is interesting and funny..! I do boring and uninteresting drawings.. so I don't deserve any compliments or popularity..!

True, some do not. However, effort is not always proportional to the outcome. You're talented, so you make excellent, lovely drawings easily, even if they do seem little and are simple.
Sure, your drawings are lower on detail than high-detail-style artists. However, that's just it - style is the keyword. Artwork's worth isn't measured by its technical complexity, not it alone at the very least. If anything, your pictures here are not worth any less than super-technical renderings of 3D items - their execution is impressive indeed, but they lack the meaning and character of your works. You deserve plenty of compliments and popularity. I wish you wouldn't say it all the time that you supposedly don't, because it starts to get a bit painful. We can talk about the characters too, but I'd rather also be able to talk about your work without complete self-deprecation and self-annihilation on your part.

Heheh.. yeah, I told you that I would keep doing that.. I did say that I prefer talk about the characters, and yeah maybe also about my work too.. but not about the technique, because I clearly don't put any effort into it..!
I do, however, put my effort into building the characters, just as you noticed..! Like, when I say Fluttershy is attached to Sunny, I'm really thinking hard about it, trying to actually give Fluttershy reasons to be attached to Sunny..! Or when I say Sunset and Sunny is very close like sisters.. I draw them interacting with each other.. also to make contrast about their personalities, I draw Sunset being bloomy with big smile on her face and Sunny being gloomy with stern look on her face..! That's why I've only been drawing them so far.. ahaha..!
Anyway, I'm guessing if I want everyone to talk about the characters, maybe instead of drawing them in my AU, I should just go back to draw them 'normally'.. I mean, like, a spoof of an episode or some recent event.. then people would talk about them, about whether or not they would do the way I picture them in my drawings..! Like that "Wingpower" I drew long time ago, it makes people discuss about whose wings are stronger.. like Dash's wings sure are trained, but Twi's wings are alicor princess wings, so they presumably stronger than regular pegasus' wings..! But it turns into debate about power and authority of the Royals.. Ah, I don't want that to happen wither..!

Well, your style is really something, then, because you manage to produce beautiful work without, according to your own words, putting in any effort. That is really a mark of talent.
And yes, that's essentially that other reason I've been trying to bring up in regards to your work. You use it to tell a story with the characters, you build them, you have a continuity of traits and events for them. I really like how you go about it. Though I do have to ask - you drew Sunny and Fluttershy as "SunShyne", as in, the ship, a few times, including that one time with the flower - when it comes down to it, do you really see them as a romantic relationship on either end of the equation? Or is it attachment of a non-romantic nature? Just wondering.
Yeah... I think you've said it right there; if you want discussion of only the characters themselves, they would have to remain in the already familiar and explored conditions or in such unexplored conditions that require little further explanation. But I really like how you have them in your own story, so I would prefer that you kept on the way you are going.
And yeah, that happens. I wish it didn't. It also normally leads to the "Twilight is a marysue nerf plz" thing. Twilight and other princesses can use magic to fly better, as it seems to me, which is what I implied in my old comment on that comic. But the point stands that people start fights over these things, sadly. So having characters the way you have them, in your own story, is possibly even better, as it carries less annoyance with it.

Well, this style is the only style I've learned and been using ever since, so I can do it without any effort.. but as I told you before, my interest is not drawing so I don't really try to get better at it..!
Yep, that's where I put my effort into; building the chars..! I don't know why, but if I just draw a char randomly, I kind of feel like.. empty.. so, I feel like I need to fill the said char with origin and traits..! That's why sometimes, I spend a lot of time thinking how a character lives their life before drawing them.. that's why sometimes it take me so long to draw a character, even for a one-time event like the clothing swaps.. eheheh..! Wow.. this reminds me of my first drawing of Sunset.. why did I draw her like that, and why did I make her saying such thing..? Maybe I've been playing games, reading books, and watching movies too much.. ahahaha..! Well, the said character now is called Sunny..!
Now, about SunShyne.. I take that term as a name of a group consisting of two special members: Sunset/Sunny and Fluttershy..! And sure in my drawings it looks like Fluttershy having romantic feelings towards Sunset/Sunny, but what I'm trying to portray here is Fluttershy as someone who is group-dependent.. but I guess with me drawing her dreaming of Sunglow kind of confirms that Fluttershy has romantic feelings towards Sunset/Sunny.. ah well, I'll just say that it's merely a generic curious and/or possessive feelings of a teenage girl.. so, she's just enjoying the attention she get from Sunset/Sunny.. eheheheh..!
And, yeah.. that's pretty much it, eh..? Ahahahah..! Well, anyway, yeah I think I'm going to keep drawing them the way I do; in my own universe..! But, well, the price for that is that I have to be able to explain the situations even without writing them off.. and that is quite difficult for me.. eheheh..! And.. aye, that happens.. heheh.. ah well, as I said before, I'll just continue drawing the characters the way I usually do it..!

The thing with the style is not anything bad at all. An artist doesn't have to have many styles, or even a single style to begin with. An artist draws the way they like, the way they enjoy - not the way they "must". And you like this way. You don't have to make it "better", technically more impressive, as long as you preserve its existing strengths - which it does have enough of.
You bring up an excellent point here. Just random, generic characters, random ones, ones without a story and a world to be in, feel empty and bleh to me. Even those in a bare-bones world do, where I can't chart out more of their life with guesses. This is the reason I come to dislike "typical" fantasy and sci-fi tropes being used to quickly cobble together fuel for pictures, universes, even entire franchises. For the record, your own AU isn't suffering from it, or at least nearly as much as many others. I honestly get disinterested in pictures featuring generic wizards, elves, robots, aliens and other such stuff, or things where they're poorly explained and obviously relying more on familiarity with the tropes and other knowledge and experience extraneous to the work itself than their execution in the thing itself. It is the height of disappointment for me when I see people who used to draw ponies stop doing that and switch to precisely those things, and that happens in quite a few cases among those who've dramatically slammed the door on all things pony because they thought the show would go some other way and can't make peace with the fact that it hasn't or enjoy the show at all anymore, and feel the need to destroy everything they've ever done in terms of pony. I seriously can't get it why people exhibit this, as they seem to treat only pony this way - I've never seen anyone do this to their past works of other franchises.
But getting back to the point, yes, for me, the character, if drawn, needs some story attached to them, some strait, some information about where they're going and/or where they came from, narratively speaking. The fact that you understand it so well and even think for a long time just to properly do a costume change is very remarkable and impressive.
By the way, I failed to find your first drawing of Sunset; I wonder if it is still available anywhere. 'cause the only picture of Sunset saying anything in your gallery comes much later than your first actual Sunset picture. Or am I missing something again?
I see, about the name. It's just usual for shippers to use this kind of name, but not anyone else, as names for couples. I see how you're going about it, too. Fluttershy does feel to me to be in need of at least someone, if not a group, to lean onto, and with her being a teenage girl in the EQGverse, like you say, it would not be entirely surprising for a person like herself to have her feelings of need, possession and attachment take on a romantic bent. I know that this kind of thing happened to my cousin, at least, so it's realistic to me. So, a one-sided ship, then. I suppose it works.
I dunno, you manage to explain the situations quite well. I'm sorry if it's a difficult process to accomplish, though; the payoff is remarkably good, however. You should draw the characters just the way you like, however - whether you'll prefer to always keep them within your universe or whether you'll want to play with them more lightly in some way! (For instance, with pony forms. I miss your take on the pony form, it was quite pretty and nice and easily identifiable as yours.)

I know nothing about those artists who once loved ponies but when it didn't go the way they wanted they then bailed.. maybe ponies had become too personal to them, so they want it to be how they liked it..?
Well, yeah, I do think and take time on how will I properly swap their costumes, representing the cutiemarks, yet still has their own original traits.. ah well, you know how it goes..!
And, well, what I meant by my first Sunset drawing is this .. I was just playing around with a fic-potential character and didn't plan to actually keep drawing her.. but, well, I ended up keep drawing her, and like I said, that 'Sunset' became 'Sunny'..!
Anyway, about the name, yes, even the one who came up with the name called it a ship name.. but I'm still using that name because I like it..! It still sounds like a normal word, but it's written differently.. it's so unique I almost want to make it as my own trademark.. ahahaha..!
But, ah.. so, it still is a ship, huh..? Well, I'll just give Fluttershy a couple more time, then she'll realize her feelings towards Sunset/Sunny is not a romantic one..! Mwahahaha..!

As for those artists... mostly, they're just part of the kind of people who become attached to some particular headcanon/interpretation of characters/events/stories so much that they cannot make peace with actual canon not favouring it. It's easiest to see when there's a long break in between seasons/new official pony stuff in general, as some people tend to get set in their ways, and when new canon arrives again and brings new change and goes in new directions, taking the story further, those people feel hurt/offended that the version they got attached to so much is no longer up to date. In the end, it boils down to people getting attached to a snapshot of something as opposed to the actual, living thing; wanting something to just freeze the way it is in a moment and never move or change again. But that is death. And I don't want pony to just freeze and stay static forever; the lovely continuation and expansion it gets is part of the reasons why I love it so much. So, yes, I suppose your assessment is correct.
I love seeing such thoughtfulness in people in general and in artists and creators of all kinds in particular, so thank you for being that way!
And... hah, believe it or not, I opened that set of pictures just before writing this reply, so... uh, sorry for failing my spot checks. I remember first looking at it when I explored your gallery; seeing a Sunset going that way made me feel like I did when I saw Elizabeth in Bioshock Infinite's DLCs - that is, it made my heart break a little. It's one of the reasons I'm so adamant about Sunny's survival: it's an emotional torment for me to see a version of the character I'm fond of live such a hurtful life, and I feel my heart twinge every time you mention the plan for Sunny and such things. Seeing her say what she says there already makes me mourn a bit and dream of preventing her from coming to any further pain; seeing any further deprivation and such only increases it.
And yeah, they designed it as a ship name - but I'm glad that you appropriate it without feeling it necessary to keep it so! Yes, it does sound kind of fun. And yeah, while it is a kind of one-sided ship on Fluttershy's part, it still does involve romantic feelings. Though if you go the route you describe here, it would be quite interesting indeed - I haven't even seen enough cases of characters with romantic feelings for another reconsider and cease the romantic part while still not antagonizing the other; most of the things I've seen either treat it as "once in love, forever in love, there can be more but can't be less" or "if I can't love you, I'll hate you". Even though, well, the "SunShyne" you have is pretty much exactly the kind of relationship I had with that one girl I described, so it's pretty realistic for things to be that way.
You are indeed doing very good so far. And I do miss your pony drawings - they're not any more difficult to be interested in, at least for me. Pony-form characters are great for simple one-off pictures in your style, and you can use them to draw something that isn't part of the AU if you aren't always feeling like it. And they handily avoid that "character without a story" problem that we've discussed above.

Well, you said it yourself, a pony drawing will be easier, because they already have a story.. but then the problem is still there; How could I make my drawing interesting..? And yes... I feel strongly about characters who catch my eye well enough. But yes, the things you describe are exactly the things that make me feel hurt for her. And yes, it makes sense with how you go about Sunset, Sunny and Fluttershy. But no, I didn't have that kind of relationship with that girl - not a dolly attachment, but rather a strangled, awkward kind of romance on my part and some warm regard, but definitely a nonromantic feeling on hers. Plus some unusual ways of showing that she cares.
And now you got me wondering if Fluttershy ever requires Sunset/Sunny to be with her to sleep well.
I don't know what do you mean about "make interesting", though. Just drawing a pony, say, like Dash or Flutters flying, or any of them prancing around, would be interesting to us pony fans. And you could always draw funny/joke pictures, too. You have a nice sense of humour for that.

The sad thing is that they do harm things - not physically, no, but they do end up poisoning the discourse about things. Though they go away, the fuss they raise remains behind, unless they erase all traces of themselves, in which case it makes itself felt as a sudden void where an active and even celebrated person used to be, which feels hollow in an unpleasant way.
Yes, I do feel that way for her. The sheer injustice and the feeling of "one so wonderful as her deserves so much better" coupled with my love of both Sunsets, and with how protectively I feel about those I love, it's no surprise, really. I guess this really will have to be Starbright Investigates! And indeed, hopefully won't have him needing to pull an Uriel move to make it work, because that'd be rather sad.

And well, many pony drawings are made without context, just depicting one of the ponies either without background or in some background that fits her character or occupation. It is often not about having something about it, but rather having another of the many depictions of the pony. Though, I admit, I like your approach more - a picture telling some sort of story, even if by implication, can be more fun by far. But, like you show here, you can come up with such things quite well! And I haven't noticed any bad jokes in your drawings before - the ones that had them were non-offensive, not negative and honestly rather funny.

Well, he was hardly a philosopher, or a particularly smart fellow. This case here is, however, more of a situation where what I do is good, but it'd be better if more people were doing the same. I hope to lead by example.
And while I do use "Sunny" as a pet name for Sunset, as you already know very well, here I'm referring to the Sunny Sunny.
I suppose you will be, but I'm grateful that you did. So I'll reward you somehow. As for how the scene relates to that, well, it made me think of what Sunny wants to do with herself, which also helped highlight why it horrifies me so. And just as a general commentary of hoping not to end up with extreme measures on the table in their situation. Though, when all is said and done, Starbright wouldn't outright sacrifice himself for Sunny - he's only just met her and she seems to be so dead set on it. He will, however, do all he can to try and avert it and keep both Suns around.
I suppose I could. Though I am rather happy with how it is now - she's well away and doesn't bother me, and I can just send a few words if she needs it. I think you can imagine what living with a Sunset who's never met Twilight in your life would be like.

It ties in with jokes, too - I guess the way they appear for you is the best, actually, and overthinking it often ruins good jokes or makes for bad ones. I would be glad to assist with both.
So, what sort of pictures do you wish to have ideas for? Any types in particular, or just something in general? Many characters or just one or two? Static or dynamic, story-related or "sketches"?
P.S.: Sorry for slow replies this week. I suddenly came down with a very strong fever that made me unable to even sleep properly, on a busy day, no less. It's related to some rather strong virus, and while I've been getting better, it still hurts to swallow or speak. It kind of limits my energy and attention span. On the upside, though, in my weird half-sleep on the first day, when I was almost hyperpyrexic, I had a waking dream of managing some sort of medical camp for victims of a debilitating but, by itself, non-lethal disease that nevertheless made people vulnerable to other diseases and dying from them, while also being sick with it myself, and Sunset Shimmer was there as my assistant; I seemed to be unable to move around, but she was healthy and relayed and supervised orders on site. She showed concern for all and for myself, worried that I would expire from trying to manage things despite the disease, but it seems I survived at the end of it. Sunset wore some sort of uniform, a greyish-greenish version of khaki in colour, kind of like a mix of this and this , except hers was more like the first in terms of having no armour parts and her wearing a cap like that, and I had a partial assembly looking like the second, specifically the helmetlike hat, the neck wrap and the mantle, as well as a jacket kinda like the second's under-armour one, but I was halfway stuck on a bed. She was rather warm and personal, though didn't lose the professional side entirely and executed the orders received. At least this strange dream brightened that night up.

Sunny is definitely the Bright Lady and Sunset is definitely the ranger. Their roles are just too close a match to see otherwise for me. Sunny is the mystical creature that enabled Sunset to have magical power and has a mysterious agenda that is very different from what anyone else who knows her believes, and is actually secretly controlling the situation from behind the scenes in part, and is in direct confrontation with a much more powerful other mystical being. Meanwhile, Sunset is a normal girl who’s been “uplifted” by Sunny’s intervention to an abnormal powers and high significance and fame.
She probably would, and you probably would. *wipes your tears* You did the right thing, though, so don’t forget it. I’m deeply grateful.
And yes, it’s a more personal case for them, but still – Sunny is planning to essentially erase herself from the multiverse, gone in all ways, and the thought itself horrifies me to no end. Starbright would be desperate to prevent that if he finds out enough. He wouldn’t give his own soul even if it worked, as he doesn’t want anyone to get erased. He’d rather find some other way, or, rather, help them figure it out somehow, given that they’re the mistresses of magic and not him.
And yeah, I guess. Though she seems to have had her fill and gone quiet. In the meantime, I happened upon another lady who happens to look like a human Moondancer (so pretty much a human skin-coloured copy of Twilight) with Adagio’s hair and human-Twi’s personality, so. I do get infatuated quite easily, indeed… particularly with a triple punch of a combination like that involved. Though I haven’t directly met a girl I felt immediately infatuated with for years, not since that one, so I guess it’s not that easy after all. Let’s hope another sleazebag won’t swoop in at the last minute – somehow, I have the “best” of luck with that, and ladies seem fall head over heels for jerkassey, egocentric and egomanic fellows.
As for my case with the pre-Twilight Sunset, it was quite impossible to not get in her way for several years – she happened to be in the same everything as me for four years, and she rather liked to scold me as a pastime of hers. Only the last two years let up, as she’d finally split away. But it’s hard to keep away when she deliberately seeks to bother you.

Well, I’m not bad at taking hints in general, but I can be bad at it sometimes if it’s too obscurely presented or worded. When there’s not much of an indication of a hint that I can see, that is. In this case, I didn’t see it because of my own silliness, though – I didn’t think you talking about the audience granted me the permission to talk about ideas. It’s my “good things happen to other people” policy getting in the way of recognizing that. So please don’t be scared!
Yes, you can put the comment box in or not at your discretion, I wouldn’t mind in any case as I’d know it’s been helped to bring about by my effort. It’d be hard to include just an idea o As for ideas and jokes… Well, there’s always a funny possibility of the main girls interacting with/reacting to pony toys, particularly Sunset/Sunny. There is, of course, a need for Aria somehow getting in on the Dazzling Beach thing, though not necessarily in a swimsuit – who knows how she’d react to the other two, or what she’d do on the beach? Maybe she’d be hosting a beach bar, if Adagio is working as a lifeguard? It could also be fun to see Opalescence and Spike the Dog with Rarity. Keeping more to the human-shaped characters, though, there’s also the possibility of Flutterbat sleeping like a bat. Or, say, Derpy trying to train for Friendship Games with a bow and scoring straight bullseyes, splitting her own arrows Robin Hood legend style. Or Vinyl Scratch and Octavia making a comeback in some form.
Jokes… well, they’re very situational, and it has to be asked first – do you wish to make any more comics, or do you prefer to do single-shot pictures? ‘cause it would help me find what jokes you’d prefer getting.
And of course, you’ll draw it in your style, at your own leisure, o sweetest pirate! I wasn’t suggesting you would change it in any way. I used the word “sketch” because that’s what you call your non-story pictures, is all.
Yep, I’ve been a healer for quite some time, but I’m used to healing others, not myself (which could often limit my usefulness in fighting other players). But I do focus on this more (as evidenced by my much slower message pace), so thank you for your concern!
And aww, I wish you would see dreams like that too. I tend to have varied dreams, and I’m either the point-of-view or observing myself like a character of a third-person game; the worlds in my dreams usually transform dynamically and the dream shifts and re-molds fluidly, like a weird association chain or a world map generator that makes new cells and remodels ones you left behind based on associations that don’t always “follow”. I only remember those that stand out in some way, or recurring dreams, or rather, locations from dreams, “settings”, as well as those that horrified me, and mostly remember them only if my sleep wasn’t too deep. And of course, having a beloved character like Sunny appear in a dream makes it stand out. I happen to have had plenty of dreams that included that girl in some fashion, too, even though none of them happened while I was still in love with her, and in none of them did she treat me particularly well either, with even the best ones being about how awkward I was. A recent dream stands out in terms of how well I remembered parts of it – in a curiously direct allegory of debate, I was watching a hologram-like televised debate between two politician-like groups of men in dark blue suits, which got more heated over time, and as one of them “crossed the line” and called for something overturning law and due process, their main speaker’s suit seemed to shimmer a little and faded from dark blue to dark red, and changed into a vest with a band strapping some blade onto his upper arm, and a sword appeared in his hand; his team also “transformed” like this and raised their various weapons, and the other team also had swords materialize in their hands and counterattacked at once. That segment of the dream ended when they first clashed. But I’d have much preferred seeing Sunny again.

Nope! Sunny has her own body, after all, and the arrangement that existed in Shadow of Moredoor was uncomfortable and bad, anyway! And they were never one, either, as they existed as separate entities even if they were essentially in the same place at once. I much prefer Sunny in her own beautiful body, able to be there with Sunset and for Sunset rather than disappearing entirely and leaving Sunset alone with no sister by her side.
Well, the idea of her just completely ending and ceasing and disappearing in all senses is horrifying all right. So yes, I’m that horrified. Starbright would be, too. And true, we can’t save everyone… but maybe Sunny can be saved regardless. It doesn’t have to be her that is not saved, after all.
I wouldn’t say I found someone to obsess over. Rather, I found a pretty and seemingly sweet enough girl to hopefully try to romance. After all, this is the only way I can not just *hug*, but actually hug someone I have affectionate or romantic feelings for.
As for that pre-Twilight Sunset, yes, I thought so too – but the point is that she was doing that at the same time as she was actively and openly romancing another fellow, and spent three years doing that while already an “item” with him. She was trying to get a rise out of me, that is true, she wanted my attention – but she never sought it in any sort of “relationship” way. At best, it was a perverse type of “care” relationship, of the “I constantly berate and harass you because I want you to do well!” sort. Which, amid the rest of berating, harassment and other fun things that didn’t contain that sentiment, I didn’t exactly need any more of.

Thanks for saying it directly! It feels like an affirmation, a lot more solid than just a hint. (It’s one of the reasons I prefer direct affirmations, the problem with people inciting me to act or think in some way with hints, then disavowing it by saying I misinterpreted them and they never meant to, another form of abuse. Enough of that has caused me not to act on hints, which means I either act on my own initiatives or not at all, since people hate stating things directly.)
Yay! That’s my favourite suggestion as well. You can draw them at any time you like, too, so it’s not like there’s a set timeframe – the Mane 6 aren’t going anywhere!

Yep, that's essentially my/Starbright's view on it, saving Sunny from herself. He doesn't know of it yet, but seeing how close his thinking is to mine, he would feel the same as I do. In the end, if she's prevented from at least vanishing from existence and life completely, the minimum goal would be achieved.

I guess she was, in a way. The other reason was (and is) that... well, this pre-Twi Sunset girl is kind of like Diamond Tiara, if you've seen the latest episode by now. Except, unlike DT, she's accepted it and agrees with it. She's snobbish and disdainful towards people and enjoys putting them down or devaluing them, largely because she feels she affirms her superiority by doing so, but at the same time she believes that "tough love"/hard treatment is the best way to make someone perform better. It is/isn't helped by the fact that, sometimes, she's in the right when she does so, so I couldn't exactly argue against her behaviour fully. And I never measured up to what she expected of me, which is mostly because her treatment causes the opposite effect in me.
Indeed, now it's clear. And you can draw it whenever you like, of course! Though, I am sure, your audience is happy to see any drawing of yours as long as it's largely in the same vein as what you've been doing, and this would be, too! I know how it feels when you pressure yourself to draw this but not that because you think it's not expected - and honestly, it's best to go with what you feel like more often. It'll help you feel better, sweetest pirate. And that's what I want for you.

Heheheh, I see. Somehow, I usually have the opposite case, although it is intermixed with what's going on in actuality as well. Like, tonight, I happened to dream that I was in some sort of group of inhabitants of a cave system who had to run from a hostile force that looked like a mix of a Dragon Age darkspawn horde and earth elementals, and I was somehow controlling the action like in an RPG/RTS hybrid, casting some sort of magic to bring down cave-ins to delay the enemy until we reached some "win-condition" safe spot. And there, the old sage leader dude of the group, whose overall look and behaviour seemed strikingly similar to one from a movie I've seen not a few hours before that, gave me specifically and then everyone else a sort of immortality-inducing substance that was actually some sort of crystal that grew by itself from magic in the caves, and the entire complex was some sort of an ancient alien/advanced relic - also a callback to something I saw recently. And then the dream somehow shifted to an old ruin complex on top of a cliff ledge overlooking a sea, which somehow also changed between architectural styles - and even had a set of wall fragments in each style it went through in the end, held suspended over the ground by a set of strange magnetic levitation-inducing statues next to it. And going off around it, down a steep cliff side and then over a sheer drop and turn afterwards, was a car "road" - built kind of like a mountain bike sports course, with a wooden ramp to lift the cars off the slope and make them drop down on the rest of the road. And while somehow hanging around there, with some others I don't remember, I saw many cars of different models and makes attempt to go down the road at different speeds and such, with some actually managing the drop down and not getting destroyed in the process, and quite a few others suffering catastrophic failures ranging from going off-road and crashing down the forested cliff ledges to crashing into the ramp supports to failing to go at the right speed and either overshooting the road or falling short of it and crashing out again. Some got wise and stopped before reaching the dangerous ramp and tried to turn around, but not all managed it - some drove back up, while others had drivers run out of the car and the car roll down the cliff. And then, after I woke up briefly and went back to sleep again, I saw a similar landscape, but this time in a rather Warcraft 3 sort of fashion, except it played from first-person view and was Warcraft 3-ified, with no cars left and orc watchtowers up in some places and the landscape "game-ifying" with unrealistic elevation levels and such. In short, oddness and transformation abound.
And yes, it does! And it's a good and fun kind of joke. I like those, not many people do them successfully like you do. So I won't mind if you use such things again - just in case.

I'd much rather if Sunny could enjoy her life alongside Sunset and her friends, loved and cherished for who she is! As long as she isn't planning on going away, practically killing herself, any option would work - she could preserve her secrets or let them out, though I suppose that, with how trusting and forgiving the Humane girls are, the latter would be better, as withholding important things from them would hurt them a lot more than any uncomfortable secret.
I hope we could. You can see that having plenty of love to spare is a bit of a problem for me, and I'd much rather have a person right here in my life to lavish it onto. I wouldn't stop loving Sunset or Sunny or Twily or Rarity or any of the others, but still, they can't exactly be hugged and held close, no matter how closely they're perceived emotionally. Sadly, the girl in question hasn't shown up all week, and I even managed to miss a message and a call from her - I'm still forgetting all about my phone, as, even though I had phones for over a decade, I haven't had pretty much anyone to call me over all this time, if we exclude relatives wanting to know my whereabouts. I made a note to keep better track of it and keep it near me. Then again, she called me while I was traveling, and it was less than an hour before the pony episode last week, so I wouldn't have been able to do anything about it aside from answering with words.
And well... in a way, the "bad Sunset" girl was using me for fun, as she feels good when she feels she's in command and control, of higher status, while others around her are inferior, and with my awkwardness and shyness combined with my strong sides, it was easy to pull off for her (in a "look how good he is at that, and yet he's helpless before me in comparison" and "here when I want his assistance, gone the moment he stops being useful" ways). I believe it was this which had her find me somewhat endearing, kind of like favourite prey that was still nice to her and coming back anyway (didn't have much choice). As a person, she's definitely a living textbook example of the manga character type of tsundere, though she found displaying her soft side to be weakness and lived mostly in tsuntsun mode; it bears saying that all this was going on as she was in a progressing relationship with another fellow, so while she was softer with him, she was happy to use me as a scratching post to vent steam. I jokingly and sarcastically replied to her with "yes, my mistress" on multiple occasions, in the same sense as "ojou-sama", and while she sometimes laughed it off, it always felt like she liked it. And right now she can still claim higher status and superiority while still using my stronger sides for her entertainment, even at distance. And as you can guess, though she was practically the only person I could interact with on a personal level for several years, I'm not exactly enjoying this kind of dynamic in the relationship.
I'm happy you're happy! Your happiness makes me happier! It's a good positive feedback loop, it is. Draw what you like at your own pace, and you'll be happier, and everyone will be happier through it!

Speaking of doodles, though, there is one idea which has never left my mind since before Rainbow Rocks. It's expressed quite simply: Sunset Swimmer. Yes, it did come about because of the pun. Somehow, I specifically see her in a one-piece swimsuit, swimming in a pool or holding on to the side, doing it sporty-like rather than randomly.
Thank you again, sweet pirate! You don't need to say anything in any case, it's all your free choice. The car part there didn't feel like accidents nor events - it was kind of a crazy dream situation where a normal automobile road happens to be built like a motocross course in that part, and cars traveling at normal road speeds first hop off the flat top to the sloped decline, and then onto the ramp and down the drop to the rest of the road, to turn along the cliff there. And many ended up missing the jumps or otherwise failing to make them and, indeed, crashing out accident-like. However, the cars seemed to "despawn", and while the feeling of something unpleasant happening was there, somehow it didn't feel like mass death and injury, but mostly like car damage without loss of life and limb, despite the falls and crashes being massive and spectacular sometimes. It's kind of like crashing into traffic in GTA games. And no, you're not bad at all!
And yep, that's how dreams work. Though today I can't really tell you what I dreamed of, as, though it was a welcome case of dreaming of Sunset Shimmer, it was somewhat strange and... not entirely safe for work, so to speak. At least it wasn't a dream where she would be suffering something bad. Thankfully, I never really have those about my beloved characters - usually crashes and strange things happen to me or unknown and mostly nameless "NPC"-like people, and this was the case here too.

Dealing with those who are involved only make things emotional, so they kind of need a 'stranger'.. and you know who's fit for that role..? pff- ahahahaha..!

While it's mixing games, back when I played Dishonored on livestream, myself and the very few people who actually cared to watch a bit seemed to welcome my comparison between the player and Pinkie - except Pinkie would be teleporting around Ponyville and Equestria hugging ponies and setting up surprises instead of knocking them out. The roof-hopping and moving in mysterious ways to appear behind unsuspecting people and ponies was there in any case, though.

Ahh, dramatic tension fuel! And not the bad, overblown kind either! But I'm very sure that the Humane girls will be, well, humane, and even if Sunset will be weirded out and shocked and struck by the news that she isn't who she thinks she is, that Sunny messed with her, I think she'll still be forgiving to Sunny, even if initially she'll fly into a rage and be very upset indeed. After all, though my beloved Sunset has a fiery personality, she's also very warm for the same reasons, and she's the unofficial element of forgiveness. Of course the two are close, but there're two points arising from it - one is that not wanting to hurt each other should be more of a norm than an exception to be shared in a deeply personal bond, as I'm sure the average CHS students don't want to hurt each other either, and neither do I want to hurt you, but I do understand that you probably mean they care for each other and hate the thought of seeing the other hurt (though, again, I feel the same way about you, and we are many orders of magnitude more apart as compared to them); and the other, that it often happens that in trying not to hurt someone, we end up bringing about something that hurts them that wouldn't have been brought about had we not tried so hard not to hurt them. In other words, achieving the opposite of what we sought through misunderstanding what needs to be done in some way. Still, I do believe that, even if initially there'll be a furious reaction, afterwards they'll all come to forgive her. Particularly if she reveals more about who she is and why she's done what she has. And yes, Starbright actually happens to be a perfect third party in this - he happens to care for the wellbeing of pretty much every girl involved, but has no stable friendship with any of them and no long history with them either. He's a stranger with an agenda, as it so happens, and that agenda is trying to uncover this tangle of secrets to help them not suffer and not know what brings it about anymore.
And yes, I guess I did - and yes, just like you and Mandy, we're largely one and the same. The girl's come back since, and we've managed to talk and interact more... at least, from what I gather, I haven't lost my chances so far. And while marriage may be way too early to think about now, at least she might be possibly open for romance. She reminds me even more of Moondancer and human Twi now that we did. Which is not a bad thing at all.
And the bad Sunset girl, yeah... She indeed felt like she was using me, and still does. The funny thing is that she perceived and still perceives it as friendship. It was her birthday just a few days back, actually, and I sent her my best wishes - to which she actually replied that she was very touched and that she's kept all my little birthday presents since we'd met, and was basically all sunshine in the message. Except, well, such words are all she can give - when we were interacting face to face, she's all take and no give. Kind of like Rarity said in Sisterhooves Social. "Rarity: But of course I give. I give lessons. Reasonable demands." As well as constant needling, berating and cold shoulders. And at the same time, the circumstances were such that I seriously could not escape this in any way, and for all the time we spent in the same place, she even remained one of the least unpleasant people to interact with, that's with all I've told of her. In short, I'm happy she's off and married already. And from what I know of her fellow, they really do deserve each other, in all senses of the phrase.

And yup, Trine. And what a coincidence, that game is also indirectly associated with a romance/relationship problem in the past that happened to occur at roughly the same time, back then. Funny how it happens. Still, the unpleasantness of that faded, while the goodness of the game and its great music remains.

True, there're plenty of drawings of all the ponies and EqG characters in swimsuits, but I mean something different. Not a sexy pose, not a beach scene and not a sunbathing or private pool moment, but Sunset in a sports pool, in a one-piece sporty swimsuit, looking like she's a swimmer and not a beach bum. I hope Sunset will let you draw her like that, and I'll love her and you for it even more if that happens.

Well, yeah, 's what I said - Starbright is based off me, he's basically an adapted version of me that would make sense in the pony world as opposed to just being a transplant.
As for the girl, well, she's been fairly reserved and prefers to keep her distance, but she hasn't rejected me and seems to react fairly well to my attention. I hope that, with enough time, I'll be able to approach her more closely, relation-wise. I don't want to rush things and end up cutting myself off like that, particularly with a shy and withdrawn person. But still, the prize of essentially a real, huggable human Twilight is well worth the effort and wait.
And the other girl, the not-Sunset... kind of, I guess. She's been discussing things with me more since, and she appears to be even more messed up than I thought, so she's a victim herself, kind of like an unwitting tragic monster. And she also reveals at least as much shyness as the girl I'm after now, so I guess there's more difference between her and Sunset too.

Well, I couldn't tell you the dream I had because it was one of those rare cases when my dream was actually NSFW... they're normally safe enough in this respect, but not that time. With the dream I did tell, though, it kind of reminds me of that one game called Brutal Legend - that's how many of my dreams are, except without the metal theme (usually). But yes, it normally takes something outstanding for me to remember a dream, or a conscious effort to do so, and I normally need to sleep lightly enough for that. I guess I could use my dreams for inspiration fuel myself, too. But yes, maybe!

Well… I guess I have something of an update now. Fairly predictably, the girl I mentioned turned out to be taken already, and quite firmly at that. In fact, the only reason myself and her are in the same places is because her boyfriend is somewhere nearby, so she moved to be near him. So, that’s a no-go. It is better this way, perhaps – better to ascertain the impossibility early than think something possible for years only to find out that it wasn’t from the very start.
