oh wow this is pretty. for a moment there from the outfit and hair and headband I thought this was sweetie belle but no mistaking that sunset shimmer face of yours. she looks really pretty here ^^ when you think sunset shimmer you don't really think girly clothes, at least I don't, but she looks really nice in them. gotta say, that's a nice pose and that face and light blush she's making are really cute. oh also think the rope on the swing looks good. anyway nice work as always keep up the good work

haha whatever you say miss twilite, i still think this sketch itself is pretty. well that's an interesting thought, why would sunset be dressed up in sweetie belle like clothes? haha maybe rarity has a new line of outfits and photo finish is doing a modeling session/photo shoot and that's what sunset is so embarrassed.
haha yea I know that sounds weird right? don't get me wrong, I think sunset shimmer is pretty haha heck i think she's beautiful, girly clothes just aren't one of the first things i think when thinking about her. just because she's a 'rocker' and that's not exactly girly like sweetie belle or fluttershy. haha does that make sense? well let's use rainbow as an example, she's a girl but not a girly girl because she's an 'athlete'. does that make sense?

how about looking at the sketch while thinking this "sunset shimmer but with fluttershys personality and taste in fashion" haha i can kinda see it. at first i was thinking maybe they swapped bodies and this is fluttershy in sunset's body but she doesn't feel comfortable wearing sunset's style in clothes. or with the power of magic they combined the three cutest characters sunset/sweetie belle/fluttershy into one! XD
hahaha that's actually not the first time I've been called Cody, i'm fine with that as a name. not super attached to my username, it's something I just came up with on a whim so it doesn't have much meaning. i think i had to make a username for something and the usual one i used wouldn't work so i just used the first couple things that came to mind, at the time I was watching code geass and eyeshield 21 so 'code' + 'yaha'(something one of the characters in eyeshield yells a lot) = codeyaha. hahaha!
hehe I think what you're trying to say is... if applejack and rarity somehow had a daughter... then it would be sunset shimmer! haha kidding kidding.

hehe what possible explanation could there be? something as crazy as body swapping would have to be something really fantastic... oh man... like how funny would it be if there was some poison joke tea or something and they were both served it and the joke was the swap? haha see? there isn't really a good explanation because it's so silly. really comes down to 'it was magic' but what kind of magic do you want to use? oh man... actually if you wanted to use an explanation from your headcanon what if sunny came up with a body swap spell and the reason she invented it was if she was ever caught in a really bad situation where she wouldn't be able to get out she would cast the spell and it would cause her and sunset's consciousnesses to swap and sunset would be doomed to her fate and sunny would start a new life as sunset shimmer. but because sunny grows attached to sunset she just seals the spell away in one of her books and never plans to use it. well... what if sunset or fluttershy find this mysterious book with the spell in it and unknowingly cast it and the next thing they know, like maybe the next morning, they're shocked to find that they're not where they belong. hehe i actually like this little story, it'd be funny if sunny put it away thinking it would be safe because even if sunset did find it a spell that causes sunset shimmer to switch places with sunset shimmer wouldn't do anything and the only ones who can activate it anyway are those with magic like sunny's or sunset's BUT here's the twist fluttershy finds the book and accidentally activates the 'swap bodies with sunset shimmer' spell and when sunny finds out about it tries to understand she realizes it's because of the blood fluttershy drank some of sunny's magic remained in her and that allowed her to use the spell. haha such a silly little thing but i love it. oh man... how funny would it be if the body swapped girls both meet sunny? like fluttershy as sunset meets sunny and she's just really shocked because not only is she now sunset shimmer but she's met a second sunset shimmer.
haha i'd feel too weird giving my self a nickname. to me I'm just marcus, nothing more, nothing less. it is a pretty dull name i gotta admit lol. haha but like i said, you can call me whatever and i'll accept it. i do like referring to you miss artist twilite though. i think twilite is a pretty cute name.

Well, I'm not wondering about a thorough explanation.. just a simple 'cause' will do..! Yeah, maybe like the poison joke tea you mentioned there.. or even a simple bumping heads will also do the trick, but it'd be too cliche.. So I'm thinking, maybe Sunset is learning a mind manipulating magic, but end up switching her mind with her test subject.. the test subject can be anyone, maybe like, Fluttershy.. or an unexpected someone..!

Yeah that'd be funny scene to see.. Pinkie in Sunset's body and Sunset in Pinkie's body.. well, it's not really that problematic though.. maybe then Sunset, in Pinkie's body, tries to do the magic again, and got herself switched with Flash.. So, it's Pinkie in Sunset's body, Sunset in Flash's body, and Flash in Pinkie's body..!

haha really curious what about becoming a guy you find creepy or scary. been a guy all my life and it's not that bad xD Β I wouldn't want to switch bodies with someone else either despite how it happens in funny stories. oh man... having twilight help put flash and sunset back into their own bodies made me imagine something silly. what if flash in sunset's body sees twilight and unknowingly(or he just forgets he's not in his guy body) starts getting friendly and flirty with twilight in front of everybody and everybody gets the wrong idea. you know something like

Hm.. I don't know, I'd rather making it unknown.. so Flash in Sunset's body would actually use the advantage to play with Twilight like a close friend.. because, it's quite already known in CHS that Sunset and Twilight are friends..
And seeing that, Sunset in Flash's body, would then snatch Flash in Sunset's body.. making it look like the two are close and make Twilight confused..!

maybe flash should get a chance to just hang out with twilight, even if it's in sunset's body. you can tell flash and twilight want to spend time together but things always get in the way. like they danced a little, had a bit of a fight during the battle of the bands and not long before twilight went back home and then in friendship games flash bumped into crystal prep twilight and just wasn't interested.
I really like sunset as flash just snatching flash as sunset away in front of twilight. that is so great lol. especially after all sunset said about "just being friends and not really liking him and only dating him to be popular"
I'm sure there's some funny things those two could talk about that if overheard would be really funny and misunderstood.

haha when you put it like that, I can't help but remember how powerful sunny is and how easily she can solve problems. maybe to make it interesting, make it so when sunset messes up and swaps peoples bodies around and realizes she can't fix it she also realizes sunny told her yesterday that she'll be out of town on business for a week. so until Sunny returns Sunset has to "survive" being in a guy body and making sure Flash doesn't do anything bad with her body

what do I think? well if it was me writing it I'd want it so sunset can use magic regardless of whos body she's in but it's never as easy as doing magic with the body she's used to. like there would be some bodies who have a good affinity for magic while others don't. like for example if sunset swapped bodies with someone like rarity or trixie who are "human(unicorn types)" she'd have an easier time doing magic than if she were to possess someone like flash or applejack who are "human(earth and pegasus types)" Could also play around with it where Sunset is surprised to see that a magic she was having a hard time with is a lot easier when using a body of a different type from hers.Β

haha I think so too! just feel like there could be so many things you could do with it. Like if luna/derpy/trixie didn't know Sunset was herself and just interacted with her as usual and Flash is really surprised to see that sunset is not only friends with them but they're not what he expected. like derpy not being as weird as he thought or trixie not as bossy as he thought. haha or even that they're just really protective of sunset so when they see "Flash" bothering "Sunset" Sunset is really surprised how scary they are when they "protect" "Sunset"

haha you know funny story I actually realized right when I submitted that comment way back that I didn't answer the question, by then it was too late xD I'll try to answer it for real this time. I think magic should be limited to the body. So with the flash<=>sunset switch sunset would still know how to use magic but flash's body is unable to use it. sunset's body would be able to use magic but flash doesn't know how to use magic so he can't use it. so it's kinda like harry potter where even if you give a muggle a wand they can't use magic and a wizard who doesn't have a wand and still knows how to use it but can't because they can't cast their spells.

huh I'm pretty surprised. when I heard that name daydream shimmer the first time I thought that was just a fan name. kinda goes well with twilights name doesn't it? daydream and midnight? reminds me a lot of celestia/luna and the name nightmare moon. they're pretty cool names to me ^^ and their powered up forms were pretty cool looking and that transformation was wild haha.
