No idea what to name this. Don't translate the title >_>
Art assignment assigned today and due tomorrow (or well er, technically today). Pretty much flailed a paintbrush for about an hour. I was supposed to use a method for painting that's on a paper, buuuut it didn't show up too well (I chose to use water to make the paint spread, but the effect didn't come out too well :/)
Not bad for a rushed flailed thing for school I guess. I wish the head didn't look decapitated though haha. But I'm kinda irked at some things at the moment so it's okay o/

"Not bad for a rushed school thing". If I did a full-blown piece as good as that I'd sit there in the corner of the room stroking it and repeatedly saying "preciousssssss".
No, really, this is gorgeous, the shading here is amazing and the dripping effect is beautiful. If I had to pick a fault I'd say that something about the face isn't -quite- right, like the symmetry isn't exactly spot-on somewhere along the lines, but it's only very slight and doesn't spoil the piece. ^^

Thanks TvT I'm sure the face isn't right somewhere, but surprise art projects can't be perfection, haha. I'm sure if I shaded the face more too with all the little wrinkles and shades, it's look better, but hey, I wanted sleep more than to finish this. xD

You're welcome, and yes, that is true - although I think it's shaded very well as it is, I think it was more something about the way it was drawn since the colouring looks great. And ha, I understand, sleep sometimes intervenes.

i really like it. Maybe shade the left side a little more to give it a better degree of depth and add in detail to the wall that's supposed to be there from the reference photo.

Maybe, though since it's a school project, I'm not really dedicated to making it look good, especially with such a short deadline xD I kinda wanted to keep the wall white, for negative space things....or something like that. :3
