Well, I wanted to use the lab rats joke.
...I first understood it today. >___> I watched the movie in german and there Erik says "Versuchskaninchen" which means rabbit and I wondered why everyone kept drawing Charles as a rat/mouse. xD So, well...now I understood.

That's an interesting note about the difference in the German dub - I had no idea they'd changed the line. I think Charles would be a very cute bunny, though...

At first is was completely confused and then I saw Mystique, and then I looked at it again, and then "ahhh so that's what happened!" 
this reminds me, I really loved how in the film, whenever Mystique morphed into characters, even if it was a guy (in fact, I don't think she ever becomes a girl character in the film apart from her own o_O) , the actors would make themselves more 'girly' in the way they talked and moved around, it was a really good touch >w<

I watched it yesterday and the funny thing is, they spoke a lot of german in the original but I've just noticed that because the parts in german had english subs. xD
You don't understand anything, but it's very cool to listen to as long as you know the plot and stuff...
it's a hard language too...and yes, I'm german. ^^ We study English at school (Currently along with Latin and Spanish. Besides school I'm learning dutch and in a few weeks I'm hopefully able to start with danish. I love languages!) but we're at a very low level at the moment, most of my english I learned while listening to music, watching movies in english or read fanfictions and books in english. ^^

mm yes English is supposed to be a hard language as well . . but I wouldn't know, because I grew up with it!! and I suppose that my interest in English helps with making it fun ^^.
Learning another language is optional - we don't have to if we don't want to. I learnt Japanese for 2 years - but that was ages ago (when I was 12/13), so the most I can do is count to ten hehe. Learning another language is harder at our school because we are in the country - therefore you have to learn through computers and over the phone. That's one of the reasons I didn't choose it - I learn best in a more personal environment. But I think I might honestly give it a go! Keeps the brain functioning, they say.
Yes I would love to listen to German music! I like variety, too, so I'll just keep adding to my music collection

yeah, it is. Though you have just "the" and not like in german "der/die/das"....it's impossible to make someone who doesn't speak german to explain it how it works. Der = masculin. Die = feminine. Das = Neutral. "Bus" is neutral. So it would be "das", right? No, it's "der"...for no real reason.
Well, we have learn English and then choose between Latin and French. Later we can again chose french or spanish. ^^ Japanese seems to be a very hard language! I wouldn't dare learning it...xD Also I like "hard" languages more, like the scandinavian ones, or, maybe greek, turkish, russian, etc.

Rammstein you probably know, they're the most popular german band singing in german I guess. ^^
Then, one of my favourites is "Oomph"...the singer, Dero, is hot. xD And his voice is just awesome. o.o I liked them since I was a little child...
"Die Γrzte" are pretty popular too.
Uhm, then maybe Polarkreis 18? They sing in english (Horrible English. xDDD) but sometimes also in german, but mostly a mix of both. I would recommend then "Allein Allein" and "Tourist".
If you like relaxed music, you should listen to "Peter Fox" and "Clueso". Peter Fox, that reminds me of "seeed". They make very exotic music.
