Doujinshi-related outtake, aka "Learning the trade," in which Kankuro imparts the valuable lesson of "Human puppets are BAD, mmkay" to his great nephew, Itomura, who wants to be a puppeteer.
Kagomaru (Gaara's son, also a puppeteer and a kazekage in his own right) attempts to question his Uncle's logic and is countered. An aging Gaara would be amused, but seems to think a nap is better.
HEY SASORI, I GUESS YOUR ART REALLY IS ETERNAL, EH? He's a much more loyal ninja to Suna now that he's dead, lol.

Meh, I think it's something that's just going to go unsaid and the fans have to decide the facts for themselves; he looks too much like Sasori not to be him, so it's gotta be him. All of Kankuro's other puppets have had vast design differences from Sasori, and he wouldn't just make a puppet that looks extremely similar to Sasori, especially if he hadn't seen Sasori's actual body for reference (remember, he only saw Hiruko). I think Kishimoto planned this when he had Sasori destory Kankuro's puppets: for some awesome twisted irony way down the line. So unless Sakura sees the puppet and freaks out, thinking Sasori's alive after all or something like that, Kankuro's probably not gonna say, "Hey look I'm puppeteering Sasori guys."

Hmm yeah I dunno, we never knew what happened to his body - such as; who found it and stuff.
It was also never confirmed that Kankurou went back to the 'Akatsuki' hide out and dug up Sasori's body. It would be very awesome though, mainly because I'm such a Sasori fangirl. LOL.
