Doujinshi-related outtake, aka "Learning the trade," in which Kankuro imparts the valuable lesson of "Human puppets are BAD, mmkay" to his great nephew, Itomura, who wants to be a puppeteer.
Kagomaru (Gaara's son, also a puppeteer and a kazekage in his own right) attempts to question his Uncle's logic and is countered. An aging Gaara would be amused, but seems to think a nap is better.

I used the paths tool to make the circle shapes on a separate layer and the freeform pen tool to make the links between them. After that, I just erase a few lines here and there and it's all good.

I was wondering when puppet Sasori would make an appearance even if he's dead now. XP Elder!Kankuro is awesome. Nice to see he's taking care of Sasori's body and making good use of it, by taking out the bad guys.
Gotta love Gaara, he has mastered the skill of sleeping while standing up. Wonder how often he has to make use of that skill. XD
