Since I've already done genderbent versions of the steam team and the Little Western crew, I thought I'd make a genderbent version of all the narrow gauge engines.Genderbent Skarloey is named Skylar, genderbent Rheneas is named Ryleigh, genderbent Sir Handel is named Sienna, genderbent Peter Sam is named Penny, genderbent Rusty is named Roxie, genderbent Duncan is named Dustina, genderbent Duke is named Diana, genderbent Smudger is named Sammilyn, genderbent Bertram is named Brooklyn, genderbent Mighty Mac is named Maggie Mae, genderbent Proteus is named Pandora, genderbent Freddie is named Francine, genderbent Victor is named Vivian, genderbent Luke is named Lucy and genderbent Millie is named Millard.

Great names, I especially like hoe Proteus' genderbent name is Pandora.

Of all these names, I found Pandora to be really interesting, since the first thing that comes to mind is the myth where she was the first human woman and opened a jar/box that released the evils of humanity. It does relate to Proteus in a way due to how Proteus is treated as a myth or legend, and I find that connection rather interesting.
That bit of analysis aside, these are pretty good names! ^_^

That was my reasoning behind having the genderbent version of Proteus be called Pandora, especially since many times the wishes that Proteus grants can have unintended consequences judging by the TCC episode called It's A Wonderful Railway, glad you like the genderbent names though!

I love how you think Peter Sam female name would be Penny lol I know your not referring to Penny from Gumball by any means but it would be nice if you did a genderbent version of the Gumball characters too?

I do like Penny as a female name, it has nothing to do with the Penny from Gumball. I was planning on doing ponyified versions of Gumball characters, so perhaps I could do genderbent ponyified versions of Gumball characters.

Nice. I would have Rheneas as Renee, Victor as Victoria, Duke as Duchess, Peter Sam as Patty Sam, and Sir Handel as Lady Handel

I went for a more gender neutral approach with Ryleigh for Rheneas since I think Rheneas could be a feminine name too, I chose Vivian for Victor because Vivian has Hispanic origins, I chose Diana for Duke as a reference to Princess Diana plus I didn't want to cause any confusion with Duchess Of Hamilton and I went for singular names for Peter Sam and Sir Handel because they used to have singular names when they used to work on the Mid Sodor Railway.
