It was basically 'draw your favourite scene from the game in MS paint'. This isn't actually my favourite scene - that would probably be when >SPOILERS< Wheatley goes mad.
But this was more fun to draw! Also, the foliage-- DAMN the foliage...... A headache, but fun!
So, instead, let's call it a belated celebration picture for Portal 2 winning that Golden Joystick Award thing for Ultimate game of 2011!!

I had the exact same reaction when she got Wheatley - I was all like "Oh, it is ON NOW!! " *I always overreact at videogames like that* X3
As for the bird that he mentions, I kinda thought it might be some kind of Aperture Science Genetically Enhanced Avian.... or something!

Yeah, I think Valve do it on purpose - give us small, tantalising glimpses into background stories and such, like Chell's potato battery and the Borealis, but never fully explaining them. Meanies!
