It was my birthday earlier this month and I thought I'd do a picture to celebrate--"How about I do my most popular picture?" My mind remembered "This Machine..." to be the most popular, since I'm often getting comments or favourites for it. Apparently, however, my Tamama Valentines picture has overtaken it between this decision and finally submitting the picture! [link]

This is SEGA Sonic fanart--Sonic Heroes era! Oh no!I actually quite like Sonic Heroes, even though most don't (and it kinda has an extremely weak plot and very low amounts of character development). But, you know, if a game has Metal Sonic (who's badass enough already) deciding to be shapeshifty and pull a goddamn Starscream on the regular villain heirachy, it's most likely going to bump the game's quality up a notch. Even if the game is rather low on the quality scale to begin with. And Metal Sonic fails. As you would expect from a game's Starscream.

General concept was a reaction to the Team Dark plotline. In the end Shadow (the black-and-red one) is concerned he's a robot, and the final movie shows one of his teammates finding a vault full of a whole lot of Shadow robots. Naturally I thought "HURRDURR SHADOW AND METAL SONIC HAVE BEEN BUSY" because my mind is very certainly sane and cool. Just a simple little joke. Metal Sonic thinks you have a lot of maintenance due, Shadow.
Naturally Shadow will flee like all good people being confronted by many children.
