We had a big party last month and I spotted this knackered old vacuum cleaner in the toilet (yes this is the minging state of the toilet - but it got a whole lot worse by 7am). I just thought that the tired old state of it reflected the state of the house, and how completely inadequate it was to cope, both with the party and the resulting destruction!!
