It wouldn't work canonically. In the first ending he breaks both of his legs and gets devoured, in the second ending he gets impaled and shot through the head. It's a cute easter egg, just kinda impossible.

WAIT, I HAVE RETURNED TO SPEAK AGAIN! I think it's probably just a remodel or a reference, as Ben was wearing his red hood in both of his 'deaths' and I don't see any evidence of the spike from episode 5 (if you saved him) or the fact that his legs/back broke if you dropped him in epsiode 4.

He shoots him if you save him in Crawford, it's unknown whether it was in the head or not even though Kenny knows its the head that kills a walker. They were in a tight spot so he could've panicked and maybe slightly missed the brain or something :')
And if you let him go in Crawford no one was there to shoot him, showing he turned c: < just my guess.

I could never bring myself to let him go in Crawford, but if it is Ben im happy to see that they incorporated the two games.

If you dropped him in Crawford a bunch of Walkers closed in on him and his legs (and possibly back) were broken. If you took Ben with you and he fell in that alleyway, Kenny shoots him in the head.
It's a shame, because I like Ben too. :/ Although, it's been hinted that Kenny will return.

If you left him in Crawford he could've easily came back I guess. If he was in the alleyway with Kenny I recon that Kenny was in a rush. I mean you wouldn't want to spend a while trying to shoot someone in the head when walkers are closing in. ^_^

He did mean well, which was another reason I didn't leave him.
Maybe he was giving the bandits supplies because he wanted to try to protect the group himself. Y'know, Try to prove his place in the group because no one gave him any important roles.
