Very beautiful, yet solemn picture at the same time.
Good luck!

Thank you! There's some absolutely gorgeous work in the contest, I'm sure it will be a tough time narrowing it down to even the top 25!

Are you going to bye Kubo when it finally comes on Blu Ray? Because I'm sure going to!

What an amazing background! Nice touch with the fade out as the river and cranes become more distant. Scenery like this makes me wish for a sequel to the video game Okami (where the entire landscape looks like a painting.) ^^

Yes, I have a copy of Okamiden. I love it very much too, but its art direction doesn't quite match that from Okami. It lacks that sense of being "alive" that Okami boasts. What I was hinting at in my original comment was a sequel that feels very much like the original game. Okamiden's great, yet it feels just the slightest bit... lacking. I can't think of a better word to describe the difference.

thank you very much!! I'd certainly love to play any game that has that kind of aesthetic, I love that type of style! There should be more of them

Have you played Okami before? Other games that I can think of that have really beautiful/artistic aesthetics and are very relaxing to play are Journey, Flow, Flower, Ori and the Blind Forest, Proteus, Cloud, and The Unfinished Swan.

This is so beautiful! I wish I could say more about why I like it, but itβs so touching that it cuts my words short.
