I was listening to "Everstar" from the second Lord Of The Rings Soundtrack. What peaceful, melancholy music. It really sets my mind at ease. Especially with these various bruised muscles I'm currently sporting. I haven't been able to be very active the past couple of days.
I spend the time watching hours of Lord Of The Rings 2 material on my 4-disk set. I think I've seen Two Towers dozens of times, but it's absolute beauty keeps me transfixed every time.
The title for this photo was a lie within itself. It actually took many, many cuts to try and take what I was hoping for. It didn't quite go according to plan, but this was the best from the lot. Another deviant portrait is coming in the next few days. I decided to space them out just for annoyance sake.
Taken with Nikon 5400, and fake mole!

i came across this picture browsing and i was mesmerized. it's just an image, a moment...but what one moment can say is incredible. i'm sure it was set up, it's obviously not spontaneous but i became mesmerized still. it's not the lighting of the photograph or the colors, maybe not even the mood, but the girl's face...is beautiful. of course it is beautiful in the conventional and widely accepted "perception of female beauty" sence but there was something more in her face. something about the line which is made by her profile was stricking. that soft line, for some reason, sparked some emotion i posses which had receeded and become forgoten. some sort of nostalgia i cannot place, something nameless. i thought to myself this is beauty, this moment where i look and become filed with something pleasant. me looking at that picture of a stranger and being moved beneath the sky and the universe and eternity. the moment passes and i could capture it, i think, in a painting or a poem but how to capture an emotion or a moment? then i am reminded of the futility of art, the futility of trying to express things no one will understand. i could say it, but who is listening? perhaps i can leave a note beneath the photograph, one which reads "thank you stranger, for the beauty."

This is a great shot indeed. Definitely the best of the three. Great colours and lighting. I don't like the necklace though, since it distracts from the general softness of the pic. Definitely a great pic though!
