Admittedly, I'm not the biggest *fan* of this piece of art I've drawn here. Mostly as this was just a quick doodle, prettied up just so I could test Hunter without their iconic armor on and to try and get better at drawing goo and slime... Or well, the colony of goo-like nanomachines forming a body underneath the chitin bits of armor.

I also really wanted to test what Hunter would look like without any of their armor on, and doing some cross-referencing to how ants work... I kind of came up with these results. I wanted to make it seem like the skin was "stretching" more, but I found that would be too violent. I was also worried their red-like ooze would come across as something more visceral or that it was just meat, which is... Also, wrong

...I don't really have much to say on this one except this is more or less the "far future" or "current timeline of Skin to Scales" on this piece of them armoring up and gearing up for their next mission

They're mostly done with the mercenary life, but they still have a few things they need to take care of first

...I also want to say how *wrong* it feels to have Hunter be out of their armor. Those big spikey shoulder pads really show off how much of a superhero like space warrior they are

It's like putting Thomza in a casual shirt instead of his armor, just doesn't sit right with me haha
