"Oh dear, the Crescent faceless. There are not many different names this one goes by outside of the "Assassin" variant, but regardless, it falls within the ranks of both Wretch and Warrior in supposedly being faceless that Maxwell created directly. (Meaning there are absolutely zero records of "wild" variants of this faceless.) Similar to the other two they have no exact point of creation or evolution before it and nothing after it. The Crescent variant is dangerously fast, able to warp through reality at terrible speeds and leave "after-images" of itself. At a glance there might be hundreds of them, but in all reality, they only arrive as a singular entity. The strange thing about Crescent Faceless is that no matter what they seem to be defeated in a singular strike but are immune to all forms of AoE. However, a single attack from them is fatal, no matter what protection you may have. Fights with these monsters happen in a blink of an eye and only one may come out on top. They also only prefer duels and will never engage if other faceless are nearby..." ~Thomza Materia
