Totally agree with you on the cutie mark design. It's why I prefer to draw their flanks blank - the marks just look dinky. Especially the size of the cutie marks is odd. It's almost half the size of every other cutie mark!

The cutiemark colors don't go with Applebloom or Sweetie Belle that well, and I have to say that I don't like a nice Diamond Tiara very much either.

I didn't like it either. I mean they didn't actually help anyone else get a Cutie Mark...ever. So how exactly can their talents be something they have never actually done at all? We know what they can do, Singing,Stunt Work, and Building. Those are talents they have shown. Β

Their talent is helping other's understand the meaning of their cutie mark. Which they have done before. Like with Troubleshoes or well, Diamond Tiara. Β

Well you do have a point. But after so much build up to those three talents it feels like such a let down. I guess I'll get used to it like everything else. The colors could use some redesign though if they are going to have the same it should be in their colors at least. The only one the purple fits is Scoots.

I half agree XD I loved the episode, personally I really enjoy musical episodes as the music is probably the main thing that's kept me in the fandom this long, but I agree on their marks, they don't really scream originality or individuality like cutie marks are supposed to. I get that they were going for the whole " we're a trio" thing, but making their cutie marks almost exactly the same was a stupid idea -_-Β
Also, I have to say it, for all those complaining it being a musical, by that definition you also couldn't like the season 3 finale or Pinkies Pride since they were basically all music as well.Β
