I'd be more concerned by the fact it came out of a chicken's BUTT!!! You see that avatar that I have? That's Al Bundy holding an egg, it reminds me never to eat something that came out of a chicken's butt.

Actually embryos are fertilized, chicken eggs are not..making them simply eggs..so its more like a product of a chickens period than an embryo..which might be considered grosser though less sad

if you get the egg from the chicken later on, like they sometimes do on farms, they can be developed inside. Still gross any way you slice it

maybe it happens when you buy real chicken eggs from a normal little farm. but when you go to a big supermarket you get neutralized chicken eggs which doesn't even seen a rooster ever... so finding an embrio is harder than ever
but you are right, it can happen
(just a thought: I love meat and I will never be a vegeterian I don't care about killing animals - the stronger survives - that's nature for you)

I eat lots of eggs that come from my grandparents. It's a sure way to ruin your appetite.

I know I always add unbelievably stupid comments to your pics...but seriously, when I lived in Montana most markets buy the eggs locally and this was a regular problem in my house....you can tell me to shut up now. I never ate one though....
