Very nicely done, I like the composition...
if I could make a suggetion, you might consider going over the areas around the Tie and Vaders helmet to darken them up a bit more....black sharpies actually work suprisingly well for that.

Haha I know what you mean; my drawing's progressed a little since '05 (I was 14 back then)
It actually is a black sharpie you see around Darth's head and the Ties - the rest of it (a typical lazy trait of mine when it comes to filling in large areas of black) is paint - hence the slight colour difference with the marker ink... it looks slightly better in real life; the scanner decided to make it more obvious

Doncha hate it when scanners do that? for some reason, the one in the graphics department always wants to interpret brown marker as red-brown...

I know, it's terrible !
I always have to fiddle around with brightness/contrast and sometimes even colour tint after scanning - not to make it look better, but to make the scan look more like the original. I've also found that some colours are better than others. Black always looks bad when it's done in colouring pencil, and red just always turns out pink (sigh...)
Well at least I *have* a scanner - before then I just uploaded bad, low-res blurry photos...

*grins* yeah, colored pencil seems to have a LOT of trouble...pretty much the only way it comes out nice is if its shading on top of marker.
Seems brown is my one truely annoying color...most scanners seem to make EVERYTHING much brighter than they originally were.
