Last year, I made the beer shed. This year I'm making the outdoor bar to go with it. Here's the bar sign. Simple, but I don't want it any more detailed than that - I'm trying to make the bar itself fit in as well as possible with the rest of the antique french farmhouse it's being built into (using old materials as much as possible) - so here was simple an old piece of plywood cut to shape, and painted black. originally I was going to paint the other bits red, but decided to keep them 'wood colour' instead to not look too out of place.

The name - no, it doesn't come from the ale of the same name... sort of. I thought 'doom bar' (as well as being a very nice beer) was a pretty cool name, so pinched it for myself - though in this case inspired more by doom metal, hence using Pentagram's logo in the design.
