this is awesome, did u do it manually, or digitally with computer? i wonder if it apllied on a tshirt, it wud be the coolest tshirt ever
I myself is quite fascinated with celtic arts and ornaments also. did u use references while working on this design or the idea was just simply conjured up from ur mind?

Thank u so much
There's the pencil drawing [link]
And here the same inked
[link]
the last stage of the work (to add the color) was done using Photoshop.
This one is an original design but some of my stuff is inspired by some historical pieces, I usually mention the source of the motif if it isn't an original like this one [link]

wow.. superb artwork. I am also fascinated with Celtic ornaments, and some Art-Nouveau ornaments too (the ornaments are Celtics, right?). But I haven't explored the style that much, due to my lacking ability to create patterns. in my case, references are needed most, otherwise I'd be just blank hehe.
Basically, all traditional ornaments are fascinanting.
in my country there's also Batik, which its patterns was applied in my recent pic.
I wonder if sometime we can make a collaboration, as in I will upload my figure drawing and it would be fantastic if we could combine it with your stunning Celtic ornaments. hehehe wish wish
Oh well, it's a pleasure to meet a Celtic designer like you, I really enjoy browsing your gallery.
cheers!

Wow! Only 3 or 4 days! That's amazing! It would take me a year to do that (and even then, I don't know if it would turn out).

the colors are deftly chosen ... the design and composition are just intricate enough to delight the eye without crowding the mind.

I like it a lot especially the little dots of yellow. The red is a little overwhelming but I am tired and my eyes are sensative right now. I will look again later.

Lovely. Colors are right for a flamingo, but the beak is all wrong. Still, since when must the colors in knotwork always reflect reality?
I would love to see this in stained glass as well.
*stares at Shuibhne in hopeful anticipation*

Yes, those colors are most suitable for flamingos
Kaleidopsyche, maybe, Shuibhne could make something with this design and his talent for stained glass works.

Actually, with only minor changes, flashed glass and some etching, most all of that can be done.
