I think it works well. Maybe some cell shading could help her stand out a little more and look more dimensional, but the desaturated colors are nice

It went well in this picture, but since then I've been a bit apprehensive on trying it out again.

It looks really nice in that picture, but it does take some getting used to. I'm still now great at shading, but you learn a lot from just experimenting with it, and it does help make pictures look more finished
