Description
Probably my favourite shot out of a couple of rolls I took a few years ago but only just got around to getting scanned. An old friend was back in town for the week, his fiance having just given birth to their first child, so I took plenty of shots when they invited me around for a Sunday breakfast. She was only maybe two weeks old at this point, and seemed such a tiny fragile thing, but seeing her grandmother (who's an absolute angel, incidentally) holding her hand was a nice reminder that no matter how vulnerable she looked now she still had many many decades of life and new experiences ahead of her, and that with such a loving family around her she really wasn't that vulnerable after all...Originally colour, tweaked in PS7 with levels and curves adjustment layers, with a channel mixer layer to convert to monochrome, giving that vague infrared film glow as a by-product (which I quite like).

Well I finally saw this one....................
I am very impressed to more I see your work and I think you should definitley get off your arse and get..... the means to make this happen full time. Just as I should leave my job and be James Bond/The Saint/George Clooney/Bono... etc all the time instead of just in my head.
Seriously though, very very very nice.... wherearewegoing?
