My bud showed me some seriously cool stuff last night so I got motivated to do some practicing on Shurak; technically she's not a new OC as her concept has been floating around for a while, but it's only lately that I've gotten inspired to do anything at all with her or develop her any.

Some new ideas include that her seamlines (like on her boobs and shoulders) actively glow, sort of like the lines on the Aligned continuity Transformers that I'm using as inspiration for her look) to make it more clear she's a robot person; I'm also getting more settled in using black/dark green colors for her metal portions. I originally imagined her morphing powers as her fleshy-looking parts turn black and grow out into mechanical forms, with some of her ALWAYS as that basic liquid metal, so that is in effect her baseline form. Her proportions, similarily, can be changed around (she can go from just big busty amazon to hyper levels without any trouble).

Basically her mechanical look is ALWAYS in flux so the way I depict her isn't neccesarily written in stone; if you care to draw her, just do it however you like!

One thing is, I'm trying to figure out a standard look for her face; if I'm feeling lazy I figure I can get away with one eye that's clearly robotic, glowy seam lines and stuff, but I do want to find good biomechanical-type reference pictures. Anyone got good links for that sort of stuff?
