Based on Sonic Colours when he talked to the robot he defeated and Tailssaid that he always does that, so i just couldn't resist to do this. lol
The robot looks like he just wants Sonic to go already and let him RIP.. xD
The english version is okay but i just like the japanese version more.
In the Japanese (original) version i watched on youtube the subtitles are mostly wrong. From watching countless anime with subtitles before i can understand
japanese a bit and well.. they are mostly wrong in other games (in the sonic x series too) and it angers me pretty much..
(Sorry for beeing such a weaboo lol)
I'm a mess at translating but from what i understand in that scene, to sum it up, Sonic is criticizing the expression/face from that robot and tells him that no wonder he
couldn't beat him with that given face he had, then Tails appears, catching him in his stupid moment, Sonic tells him flustered that he was just
checking whether it was actually defeated or not, then he moves back to the "expression topic", looking disappointed to the robot while tails tells him that he has seen him
defeating strong opponents many times but he doesn't think that it has to do anything with the "strength of expressions".

And I don't know if you already knew this, but there is someone who has been translating most of the main titles' japanese versions really accurate. One of his/her first translations was Colors, and I like the japanese one a lot more, a lot less bad jokes and puns.

Hope this helps^^, he or she, also said there was another translation, but that that one was a little bad in his/her opinion and led to him/her doing it too.

And no i didn't knew this person on youtube before but i looked at the link and the sub is really pleasing! It felt very matching with the japanese dub.
It's hard to find a decent translation so thanks a lot for letting me in on that!

So that person had also made a few other translations, and I already loved the English version of SatBK, but the Japanese one is even better^^
And, honestly, I don't think the voice acting in Colors is that bad, even though a lot of people seem to hate Roger as Sonic. He isn't my favourite, but I think he is good at what he does, it's the story that bothers me. But he is the best for Boom, I can't imagine Ryan or Jason pulling it off like him, but that's just my opinion
And I know, but that's just kinda me. I have something I'm almost done with, and then lost motivation, and I just see it in my WIP section, and think: When am I going to continue? XD

Of course he is a professional voice actor and well Sonic booms Sonic is exactly made for his voice i think.. Sonic boom in general captures the whole francis in a completely other feeling/atmosphere, i don't dare to describe. Because to be frank, first i'm getting old, second i like interesting plots, third i love interesting character settings. Those are three rules in my brain manipulating my thoughts about boom.
So.. i really am not that fond of boom, but that doesn't make it bad it just doesn't appeal to me.. just like dialouge changes, in Sonic games/Sonic x series from Japan, when they turn it to english.

Yeah, I think so too, but they also tried to do that with the English translations of games, but that just didn't quite work.
