i answered this ad in the paper one time for performance art. where im from, art is real slow to hit the streets, so i was willing to look into it.. i go there and this guy is like tall and wispy skinny, dressed in stone washed black jeans and long frail ponytail, he has a disabled wife and these two huge white hounds from hell dogs.. anyway.. i should have known when the ad said empty saucer... (duh) but i thought,, aww how cute... coffee house..empty saucer... well long funky story short... he was a cult leader.. well a wanna be...
and he was showing me designs for a space ship/ stage thingee and then went all nuts and screaming about the germs and how all the people would die unless they wore these shiny space suits and i went well that would suck and he was like... YOU WANT TO KILL ALL THE PEOPLE?? i bet he would have liked this material.... sigh... i think is my new journal entry.

There are these posters around my uni near the health/counselling area offering support for young pregnancies, that appear to not be affiliated iwth any religious organisation. Anyway, I heard this rumour that it was actually extremist christian recruiting, who counsel you for the first session or two, then start trying to indoctrinate you, so I went in for a couple of sessions, pretending to be pregnant and quite set on having an abortion... It was so full on!
I'm okay with people practising their religions, but underhanded tactics like that, trying to force people into their religion when they are already in a confusing situation...
