This is supposed to be me - I wouldn't go as far as calling this a self portrait, though.Those shadows you see over there are supposed to be people - 'friends', as the title suggests.
EDIT: These creatures are not supposed to embody any of my real life friends - you are welcome to make up your own oppinion about what this image is supposed to communicate, but I'd like to point out this this was first and foremost NOT meant to tell the story of how my real friends abandon me - after drawing this I experianced that quite a few of my friends thought I was trying to express just this, and that it hurt them... So just to clear up: this picture tells first and foremost the story of my, once, need to ressort to imaginary friends during a hopeless period of my life. I welcome you, still, to see it your own way.

lol, I guess when you feel bored around your friends or find something missing, you resort to imaginary friends

Well, this is a really old drawing, from back when I was mentally ill-er... I resorted to imaginary friends because I needed someone who'd be able to read my thoughts and therefor understand me in a seconds without me having to try and share my soul with them and they not understanding. I also needed someone who cared for me, I had no real friends who put me first (understandably so, I might add - just like I'd never think to call the geek in my class today if I wanted to go to the cinema with someone). Boredom? Not so much. Though boredom might be a good reason for others to create invisible friends, I suppose.

You are right!Dont think about things that have happened in the past! If we were to think back and regret everything we have ever done wrong, and stop doing things because we are afraid to do the same mistake twice, then we would worry 24/7. And We would stop doing just about anything... :/
