Catrin had been working for Joe's Tavern for just over a year when they learned about her two most special abilities: one, she could eat even the hottest peppers without flinching, and two, something in her DNA left her able to "fuse" her body temporarily with just about anyone, sharing the same body and, most importantly, the same receptors. In short, if Catrin ate the spiciest pepper in the tavern, and she was conjoined with someone else, they would feel the heat long before Catrin so much as reacted.
