Ignorance is easy to fix. Boxing Day is the day after Christmas (December 26) and apparently was named for Christmas boxes given as gifts -- possibly to those who worked Christmas Day (as servants?).
But yeah, those things have to be worn with some care. Or is this an attempt at "the Nailer" (from Modesty Blase lore)?
