One of my favorite characters.  Why did she have to die?

So how did she die?

EvantheEevee In reply to Shadowgun453 [2019-10-08 03:35:30 +0000 UTC]

She took the brunt of a magical explosion from a detonated Templar Tower, using her body as a shield to protect Keith and his friends. She survived the blast itself, but she died in Keith's arms on a beach when Trace was trying to return her to him due to the severe damage she had sustained.

From what I remember in the comic, she suffered injuries that couldn't be recovered-from (but she was already sick by the time Trace and Company met her).

I'm still so upset about what happened to her...she had it so rough and then got unceremoniously killed off, and it seems like not even her spirit gets respite....i just feel so awful for her to the point it causes actual depression (yeah i know it's stupid to get so torn up over it...). I wish she could get a happy ending in the actual comic as opposed to the non-canon Patreon art...

that is because immature boys often focus exclusivity on the breast, because they don't know that what makes a girl pretty is the overall mathematical symmetry of her proportions.

It just annoys me with people when people just says "bobs?" when beauty is so much more. A Beautiful women is curvy, with mountains and valleys, she is not just a top heavy stick.

Big breasts are often the exact opposite of beauty, think of Miss choksondik from South Park.

As I also wanted to say, but was afraid would make it too long. Beauty is objective. It is all about proportions, the golden ratio, the smoothness of the skin and the heir.

Colour is also important. My people are almost all born towheaded, but our hair darkens with age. That is what makes blondes more beautiful. Like with all the other clues it signifies youth, health and vitality.

But in our day and age, post-modernists, in any of their incarnations, want to relativise and subjectivise everything

OutlanderAshton In reply to rphb [2020-01-04 18:26:29 +0000 UTC]

I agree totally. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as well, people want to objectify a part of a woman; breasts, butt, etc. Beauty can be inward, outward, takes on so many forms for each different person! Sorry! I didn't mean to get off on a tangent in the comments. I just really loved this picture and appreciated its beauty

rphb In reply to OutlanderAshton [2020-01-04 20:49:40 +0000 UTC]

yes and that is because it takes skill for an artist to express beauty, not that it is subjective, but that the mathematical calculations needed to measure it are rather complex. The golden ratio is the key.

As for the objectification of women.

I can't see it on thy profile but I assume thou art a women, so thou may not understand this, but men are visual creatures. That is the be all and end of of measuring the value of a mate for a man, whereas women have to take a more holistic view to find their ideal mate.

This video explains it in details: www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9WZFe…

But basically the ideal woman, is one who is chaste and able to give birth to lots of children, whereas the ideal man is one who is brave and able to provide for a great many children.

Children of course is the goal for all biological creatures.

For a man to be able to provide, he must be very wealthy and have a high social status. His actual physical appearance is secondary, it is more important how he carries himself and interact, that is the clues that women have to look for.

For men it is all about finding the most optimal baby factory, and the traits who makes women beautiful, are also the ones that signify their optimal fertility.

I know I go about this very scientifically, I am just not good with emotions so sorry if all of this seems cold, I just like to find the underlying logic behind everything.

And there are a logical explanation for everything. Nothing is truly subjective or relative.

I am very glad for Prager U, their videos are always informative, which is nice in this era of near total deceit.

Respect is also something that is often lost in this polarising time.

While I love to discuss politics I am having a hard time talking to leftist these days, as they have seemingly all forsaken the doctrine of benevolence.

This is one of the key creeds in civil society.

It simply simply state that everyone, regardless of their political affiliation, wants the good, that is they want what they think is good for society. A meeting between people, are thus not a battle between good and evil, but an exchange about different ideas of the good. Ideally under this doctrine, we should be able to reach a mutual understanding, all that is required is that we recognize the same facts.

Evil is different. That is something that can't be talked to, or reasoned with, thus the only option is war. Civil society can't function if that is our base assumption.

As for love. And I know I am somewhat of a nerd, there is actually four kinds of love.

Storge, philia, eros and agape.

It often gets confusing if we just lump them together.

Storge is family love, such as the love between a mother and her child. It is an unequal yet non the less powerful and basic bound, the first love most of us meets.

Philia is friendship, the kind most often seen only in movies, the intense true bound between comrades. I believe TV tropes calls this "heterosexual-same-sex-life-partners", which shows a level of ignorance that Hollywood for true relations. In any case it is platonic, there is nothing sexual about it. It is friendship, taken to its logical extreme, and it is distinct from the far more common acquiescences that most of us are surrounded by.

The third type of love is the love that have the most press. Eros, romantic love. But of course Hollywood too tries to demean it and make it profane, by equating it with lust. It wont surprise me one bit if they start to sexualise mother-son relations too soon. But it is the kind of love we see in Shakespeare, back when people still understood romance.

The fourth type of love, agape is the one that is hardest for people to understand, it is unconditional love, that is the relation between God and mankind.

Love is one of God's attributes, along with Truth, Goodness and Beauty. And God is Absolute, without limitations and conditions. I don't really want to preach, no human can have it, we are too limited; but it is a religious experience, it is the religious experience, and it have saved many souls. It is the only thing I know of that can change people.

Thank you though for this information

There are exceptions, thou art an exception, but evolutionary speaking, women tend to ally themselves with the victors, whit whom they perceive to be the victors, hence why so man women slept with Nazi soldiers in occupied Europe, or Japanese women sleep with American soldiers after the war.

Men risk everything in war, they live and die with the victor.

Women on the other hand don't risk much, they are the spoils of war. They will cry for their dead husband, but would rather remarry his slayer than poison him in his sleep, because he would have been proving himself stronger.

There are bravery in women too of course, but I think conservative women are something else, they are not brave, they are wise. While the left is strongest now and have won the battle, it is the right who will ultimately win the war.

And a few women are wise enough to recognise the inherent strength in conservative men, and who sees the leftist men for what they are: weak soy boys filled with envy and hate for what they will never be - real men.

Im a pretty strong and brazlve woman. That being said strength and power can be interpreted many was. My mother raised three kids while my father worked. She is just as if not more brave and strong to me than modern business and independent women.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

rphb In reply to OutlanderAshton [2020-01-05 14:36:18 +0000 UTC]

She sounds far stronger than that to me. Modern day "independent business women" are not strong at all. They forsake their own womenhood that leaves them empty and bitter.

And if thou hasn't noticed, the toxic and hateful ideology of feminism are most vehemently opposed to the natural female virtues and the women who pursue them. Housewives are ridiculed where they should be celebrated, meanwhile sluts are celebrated where only a generation ago everyone knew that that was the worst thing a women can be.

I don't know thy mother, but she sounds a lot like my own, although old and grey now she have also been a housewife and raised me along with my two elder sisters. Last year my mother and father had their golden wedding anniversary. She is also an incredibly strong women.

Today Hollywood are so insecure, that they think they need to turn women into Mary Sue's that emasculates men and succeeds with everything on their first try.

Think of the Disney version of Star Wars, compare that to Betty from Not without My Daughter (1991). There we have an example of real female strength.

The truth is that feminists hates women, more than they hate men, because they hate everything it means to be a women.

It reminds me of the parable of the Madman by Friedrich Nietzsche, I will spare thee the direct quote, but thou should google it and read it. Without God there is no meaning, and things like feminism is the result. It is one of many secular religions who seeks to fill a hole that can only truly be filled with the infinite.
